TV Guide says this is the best episode this season.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

Greetings...I bet it will be... it had that "feel" to it as I saw it live and then again on TiVo. I also love Eliza Dushku in Tru Calling... I'm waitng for that to come back on FX. I know it's supposed to start again in November, at least that's what it said when I checked the Tru Calling website... In the Light... Greetings...I think this was probably the best Joan ever! I cried like a nut, just like when I used to watch Touched By An Angel. I'll say that I never cared much for Judith, but I never wished that on her! Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did... In the Light... I enjoyed it, but I don't see what good it is to talk to God and never see miracles--not one. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." I can't believe they killed off Judith, that was a shocker. But unfortunately, I was not watching the whole way through, and I missed on what happened to her exactly. Was she shot?-StarLover IP: Logged |

Greetings...I think the miracles that we see on Joan are of a more subtle nature... Gandhi used to say (and I'm paraphrasing badly): Be the change that you want to see in the world. I think what we see is Joan learning to perceive things on a deeper level, in that way we can allow ourselves to grow and expand our consciousness without having to see the miracle. The miracle is that change or shift in perception; that depth of understanding that comes through the experience. Remember.. sometimes when we ask for a miracle or demand a manifestation from God... the answer is NO. Judith made a Free Will choice. Perhaps in the grand scheme, it was her time to leave Physical Reality for something greater. I'm actually going to watch this episode again now on Tivo and see if I "get" any more input. Blessings and Light... A ------------------ "The ALL is MIND; the Universe is Mental." *** The Kybalion IP: Logged |

I agree, but it would be nice to see some genuine divine intervention on a grand scale just once. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Greetings...Randall... I hear you and I agree. However, my next question would be, "then where do you go from there?". Perhaps the writers are telling us on some level that we all need to make a step toward our miracles and our Faith, and in that way, miracles will manifest. I think too often people are lulled into a sense of, "well I prayed, now all I have to do is sit here and wait", and I think we all know better than that... ... though I will say that some things actually have manifested on that level from time to time. Like sitting in class and not being prepared for a test and the teacher forgetting it at home. But those are the baby miracles that we often can whip out in a moments notice. The really big ones, like healing Judith... or Kevin for that matter... are major miracles that involve a good deal more than a simple wishes-make-it-so kind of magic that we actually can pull off from time to time on our own "stored up magic reserves", if you will. Perhaps the writers do actually have a grand miracle waiting around the corner? Then again, what more of a miracle do we really need than that God is REAL and involved in our daily lives? What if we are all talking to God all the time? And further: What if God Was One of Us? Make any sense? Blessings... One time, a teacher brought one too few tests to class and told me to just go home, since I always make an "A" anyway. I had not studied for that one, though. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Did anyone else get the impression that Kevin's girlfriend was actually God on the night of the accident??? Fate and freewill, when do you know which is which? Honestly, they both work in your life, but when is it fate, and when is it your choice? I always get confused with this thought.-StarLover IP: Logged |

I believe that every outcome that can happen has happened. Greetings...Randall... Yes I had that same thought about the Girlfriend being God (or vice versa) that night! I thought it was very appropriate that Joan went to the Tarot Reader.. didn't you just KNOW it would be God, and came up with a reading full of blank cards. Gotta love it! Star... In terms of Fate and Free Will... I think that all time is NOW, as did Linda... it is our Free Will Choice that determines which "time line" we travel through... but I think that the number of POSSIBLE timelines is almost infinite, and simply awaiting our Choice to bring them into what we know as Reality. I think Randall said it more simply! Make any sense? Blessed Be... A ------------------ "The ALL is MIND; the Universe is Mental." *** The Kybalion IP: Logged |

I really loved this episode, and I wish I had it on tape to watch again. "Don't forget the present." It was heart-jerking to see the love God has for Kevin and the sadness He felt (as Kevin's girlfriend) to see Kevin choose to toss his friend the keys to the car. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." I also liked the way the flying kite transformed into the tossed keys--symbolizing that there can be joy in sadness. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you."
