Hi, can anyone give me an indication of what the Moon, Devil and Lovers card would mean in a reading I did about the friendship between myself and a male friend please? xIP: Logged |

That is very interesting. If anything, one of you is sexually attracted to the other, and the other is unaware! or... It seems to me like there is some sort confusion about what this relationship is. Are you sure you're just friends? The Lovers and The Devil in the Rider Waite deck are very similar to one another. When they get put together I think of a sexual love/lust type of relationship. One of you is sexually attracted to the other. You're somehow bonded with him, and you don't know why. The Moon card adds to the confusion of this relationship. You're in the dark about your feelings or his feelings. Perhaps you're psychically linked to this man. There is some sort bond here that can't be explained. It's a karmic relationship. A deep penetrating relationhip since the cards are all Major Arcana. There is something very deep going on here. Almost like your linked to him, and you can't get out. You're trying though aren't you?

Wow Star, thanks so much and yeah I am aware that something of a very profound nature is going on. If you read the cards I wouldn't mind some further advice and of course.  Thanks Randall, I love Tarot and Astrology. I go back and forth, I love both subjects so much, and both of them require so much time and study. Sometimes I feel like I can't penetrate the subjects as much as I wish I could. What can I say, I'm a Pisces and a Gemini. I'm always torn in four.Sue, I would have to ask you to do a further reading, but from the look of it I would say he's sexually attracted to you, but he's being very secretive and mysterious about it (The Moon). I felt sexual tension going on there. I think this is a profound relationship, it's one that I don't feel like you're going to get out of so easily. There are lessons to be learned here. I feel like he's clingy and possesive, or he just wants to possess you in some way. Probably wants to grab you by the waist, and take you to his cave so to speak. If he scares you, follow your instinct, and keep your distance. You should never try to save people who are like that.

Star Star Star, how wonderful you are. This wasn't easy for me to read but I am SO looking for answers with this one. Not to go into too deep, but he Libra aged 25 me Scorpio aged 46, met 5 years ago, immediate connection (him lots of Scorp in chart inc Moon and me Libra desc). Anyway we moved 100 miles away from him but I feel SO connected to him and now trying to break the ties but cant. Love him very much, but just had a showdown with him coz I pushed him to support me tho a difficult time and he couldn't- I guessed he avoided me cos he felt it too difficult to face me. Sexually attracted to me - WOW - I sort of felt that but thought I was too old (ha ha) for their to be that sort of thing going on. Oh Star, you havehelped so much and this union is so hard for me. p.s. sorry Star to bother you again, could I just ask you how did you feel that he was attracted to me and not the other way around, was that something in the cards or something else, hope you don't mind me asking. You see he is so controlled on the outside when we speak or meet (which is seldom) that you wd never know how he is feeling or what hes thinking - all that Scorp I think). Thanks again xIP: Logged |

The Moon card shows that whatever feelings are going on between the both of you is that it's very dark and vague. I just felt that someone really wants someone maybe even to the point of secret obsession. I think you like him a lot too, but you feel like it could never happen. Sue G, I just wanted to say that I too am experiencing something like yourself. I did a tarot reading for myself with a certain guy and the Lover's Card and Devil appeared. I read somewhere online whenever those appear in a reading it could resemble a soulmate relationship or some sort of deep connection to each other. So far I found that to be true. I would like to break away but can't seem too. He's already disclosed that he was extremely sexually attracted to me. It's one of those beware relationships so we are taking it slow. Oh Kay, hes not a Scorp is he? The guy Ive just started to cut the ties with is Libra with lots of Scorp and me LOTS of Scorp. Well you know it is one of the hardest things to do, but I am getting there, but has taken me 5 years to come to terms with, that he isnt good for me.
