Don't know if this is true, but it is coming to me. Don't have any answers, just speaking what is being told/shown to me. Christin..wow. I am honored that you would request such a..wonderful thing of me. Hmmm... wow. I have always been 'gifted'. I had dreams, and strong intuitions that later came true. One of the strongest, concerns a dream that I had four years ago. It was about my an old teacher that I had in middle school. I dreamt that she had cancer, and that she would pass. I kept dreaming about her, and her family over the years. I even tried to get intouch with her, but at the same time I was afraid because i feared I would scare her.Earlier this year, my sister told me that she passed, of cancer. Needless to say, I burst into tears, and was not sure what to feel. It is not a good feeling to predict a death, or sad event. Chris, what I can say is this: --be open to the 'weirdest' things. For example, if you keep seeing/visioning/hearing/feeling something repeatedly, pay attention. Even if it does not make sense at the time, keep it in mind. Record your insight, as the revelation tends to remain acute for a moment. ---take time to appreciate nature. I found that by paying attention to the natural beauty in things, I was able to pay attention to the signs, that nature was giving to me. I try not to be judgemental. I try to appreciate the 'good' in things, and people. This does not mean that I am foolish, and allow others to walk over me. It means that if I am getting the urge that will lead to a 'reading', I put societal boundaries aside, and see this person as a part of the whole. ---Keep a diary or journal that is purely for recording your dreams/insights. At first, you may record ALL your dreams or insights, but it is okay. The thing to learn, is to trust your instincts. Is there something that is 'nagging' about the dream, or feeling? Be specific in what is nagging you. ----Be willing to listen to your voices, and emotions. This is tricky. It is like seperating the e from emotions.. you know? What i use to do, and still do, is ask a question, and I leave myself open to receiving the answer. It may come in the form of an emotion, and so you will need to interpret the feeling. Or, you may hear words. These should be written down, and if need be, added to as time goes on. ---Be patient. Rome was NOT built in one day. I am thirty one years old, and I am still learning. My fav saying is: The one thing I know, is that I know nothing. Be patient with yourself. Don't force an insight.. Be willing to humble yourself to others, as you are now doing. I love this site because I am humbled by the beautiful lights here, and I learn so many things. Things that are adding to my gift. :-) --- Also, know that not everyone will be able to 'do' the same things. I have a friend who does Reiki. She is marvelous at working the kinks out of people's body, and spirit. I cannot do this. This is not my gift. I am extremely emotional, so if I was to do Reiki, I would probably lose my mind.lol. I am more clairvoyant, and this is my 'gift'. However, for whatever reason, she is not good in this area. We turn to each other, for help. We recognize each others gifts, and do not force, what we are not meant to have. So, my question to you is: what are your inclinations? What do you find, 'easy' to do? Do you hear, see, sense, dream of things? ------------------------------------------- I would be happy to be of assistance to you in anyway that I can. Namaste IP: Logged |

Thank you! Well...I don't know...small things have happened to me, like, with me willing something to happen, and it does. But I don't think that's a gift. I sense things more...easily? I definately don't hear anything--and see...well, I see colors, I think, and sometimes odd shapes, but that's about it. hm IP: Logged |
