all i have to say at this moment is that you are big magic! i've worked on your cards since yesterday and the most magical things have occurred.

i see this magic in your cards too. i don't know why the universe is drawing out this reading for so long...but i believe it's so that i may absorb and assimilate more of the energy of your cards. it's so very strong!

the first day i said i needed to sleep and dream i picked a sprig of mugwort from my plant outside my front door to sleep with under my pillow...to enhance my dreams. the next morning it had disappeared...nowhere to be found. and i searched and searched...because these things don't really happen to me. i looked all through and under the futon...shook out and washed all the bed covers...nowhere...and it was a large sprig, not just a few leaves.

then today as i was preparing to look at your cards...i felt compelled to feed my pets, as i believe they work with me on a psychic level, and i felt it would better my reading...so i walked outside and the backyard was utterly abuzz with dragonflies. i'd say at least 25 if not more...very large ones. these are intensely magical creatures, and their symbolism fits in profoundly with your cards. They’re said to be the gatekeepers of dreams also.

i was astonished to see this. they were in no one else's yards around us...i've never seen one single dragonfly near my house, or on my block, or in my city...not even at parks...they were flying about in circles around my yard...i've wondered why they came to visit at that very moment.

i've felt the need these last few days for spiritual protection...and spiritual openness as well. in viewing your cards today i used some powerful incense to clear the air and imbue the space with spirit. it was strong myrrh, frankincense and benzoin on charcoal...followed with white sage and sandalwood. i had some essential oils diffusing...i'll explain those in your reading...and i dressed a candle for you too...and i'm impressed how this fits into your cards also. It was after I lit the incense and candles that I noticed the dragonflies. After I sat sown to look at the cards for a while, I looked outside again and they had all disappeared – not one left.

overall, i'm seeing such intense magic in your cards! i don't usually feel the need to be so elaborate with looking at the cards. usually just a plain candle and some stick incense. the need for your accoutrements manifested itself without compromise. i'm trying to follow the flow of this energy without letting my very arien impatience take over...so many of the distractions have brought necessary insights.

this is so wonderful for me to participate in with you. i am sorry that you have wait longer than promised...i had no idea where this would take me...i am humbled and excited.

i know now not to give a specific day for looking at someone's cards. i've learned that with you. i am aware that you're seeking some feedback, so rest assured that i will be back here with your cards asap. also, i saw that blue roamer gave you a reading...as soon as i saw that post i stopped reading. i hope that what i present to you will flow with his, but i don't want to be influenced by it.

so there it is...you are a strong magic lady! i'm even sensing it in past lives. wow...goddess bless...and blessed be...

p.s. sandi ~ honestly, i've encountered the most bizarre obstacles in not only looking at your cards, but also communicating with you at all. i've tried to respond to this thread since yesterday and have tried to send this post numerous times tonight (this morning now) to no avail. I’ve not only copied it but also saved it on my computer. i've wavered between considering these occurrences fortuitous and deliberate blocks, and i can say that they've been a little of both...they aren't naturally an issue, so i guess you'd say they're *supernatural*. i'll take some rescue remedy flower essence tonight to adjust my feelings in this matter...rr always intensifies my dreams with an impact...hmmm, interested in what tomorrow will bring! will be back later to update you.

please forgive my absence...i did not give up on you. my life just went topsy-turvy for a bit.

i've kept your cards in the order i looked at them...am saving them for you. have not used tarot since your cards. i'm feeling under the weather these days, and coming into LL for some reason has a huge effect on my psyche...it can really wiegh me down, if i come too close.

and that happens frequently if i'm not careful. it's a beautiful place with many hidden gems and delicate tidepools...

but i can too easily be engulfed in the waves of harsh energy here also; i get overwhelmed with it and my spirit feels crushed underneath, so i've had to stand back for a while.

sorry i left this thread where i did; i didn't expect that strong a current -- and i was in it without knowing...and rushing downstream.

i'm here, but hovering. i feel that i'll be back to you soon, but can't say when. i wish i could be more sturdy with the answers you're seeking. i thought i was...however, working with these new cards, returning to tarot after a long time -- perhaps my spirit just needs some adjustment and fine-tuning, which the cards are helping to effect.
