I concur. But it's interesting that you said "childlike," because it has come up in readings where the Petitioner was pregnant or soon-to-be.------------------ "All deaths are suicides, do you realize that? Every single one. The only distinction is that, with some people, suicide is a subconscious choice, and with others it's a conscious choice. Otherwise, those who commit suicide and those who succumb to accident, illness or "old age," die for exactly the same reason: belief in the inevitability of death." Linda Goodman IP: Logged |

In fact, if the Sun is drawn (for a female), I always ask if she is pregnant or trying to get pregnant. ------------------ "All deaths are suicides, do you realize that? Every single one. One couple I did a reading for at a convenience store (I usded to keep a deck in my car). She was an eskimo (that's her own terminology), and he was much older, and theyu were told they couldn't have children. I don't know the details of why. But the Sun came up in the reading. Relative to the rest of the cards, I strongly felt she was going to be pregnant. Then they told me the story about her being barren. Well, doctors can only do so much. The Divine Doctor has no such restrictions. Yep, you guessed it. She got pregnant. I never saw them after the baby was born, so I don't know if they had a boy or a girl, but that baby is going to be loved...and spoiled! ------------------ "All deaths are suicides, do you realize that? I would love to be able to tell someone they are going to have a baby soon.I get a little reluctant to do that though, since i don't want to give false hope surrounding medical problems etc. I tend to take the sun at lighter form, and use it to symbolize good news,or a prelude to good news coming soon.Maybe i need to be more confident in the cards lol,and miracles IP: Logged |

i generally don't really like Sword cards. especially 3 and 10 of swords. also 5 of coins. i don't even use Rider-Waite but they make me think of those images.i love the cups. IP: Logged |

Six of Cups and The Sun, most definitely. I'm not even one for nostalgia, but the Six of Cups brings a good kind..I've realized. None of the sort of toxic past you need to get rid of. I also love Justice too in a reading, because it usually means I can trust the person and they have lots of integrity. IP: Logged |

My absolute favorite card is from the Aleister Crowley THOTH deck... It is gorgeous in every way and this is the first card of this particular deck that I felt drawn to. Death is not scary, but rather a transformation and beginning of another phase. I think it's funny when I read for others and they freak out when this card shows up IP: Logged |

I do freak out when I get this card Anyways, I had it in my last reading so if I won't respond in the future, you'll know what happened to me...

Why the 2 and 10 of Cups?------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |
