Fayte, I havent used a talking board in years. Although when i was younger we played with the Ouiji (sp?) board. Of course we were children and who knows whether it really happened or not. But we did come in contact with a spiritual being (no one fessed up to 'pushing" the piece that you lay your fingers on lightly) Anyways, the spirits name was Michael. And he said he dies many years ago. We asked (being stupid children) if he had a crush on anyone in the room. And he said Yes. We then asked him who and it spelled out my name A-N-G-I-E. We then asked why, and he replied S-O-U-L-M-A-T-E. Which freaked me out enough to lift my hands from the board. And OMG - i just realised this one, ironicly enough the man i am with and whom i've been told thru astrologers & my own heart (as well as he) is my soulmate, has the name Michael!!! ? Why am i just realising this now? Thanks fayte for the flashbacks and the puzzle piece!! IP: Logged |

Hi Fayte. I was browsing through an Edgar Cayce book (wish I remembered which one), It was written by one of his children? Anyway, it advised how to explore expanding psychic abilites safely. Apparently, there are some approaches that are not safe and you are then open and unprotected from negative energies. I remember them saying ouiji boards are one of the unsafe techniques, as was "writing?" ( I don't remember the exact name of the technique). You should do some more research on these different approaches in terms of what is safe and what is not. IP: Logged |

lovelyelle.... automatic writing. And I have alot of experience with both and how to be safe. It IS NOT A TOY! I cringe at the use and sale of it as a board game or toy. It is a serious tool not meant to be used for silliness or while drunk or stoned or if mentally unstable. Do not "play" with this kind of thing unless you know what you are doing 100%

It's called automatic writing.------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll IP: Logged |

I saw an amusing board the other day. It was a glow-in-the-dark one. A little silly I think, but an interesting concept product.IP: Logged |
