Hi,

I don't live in either North America or Europe at the moment, and very often I'd find myself purchasing books at Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk - because even the largest bookstores here in Taiwan (mind you, they have great reputations) don't have many of the books I need. Worse still, sometimes I would find a book at, say, Amazon.com, and realize that only used books are available- which is fine by me, BUT they are not postable outside the USA. So...I'm willing to take a trip to the States or Britain if warranted- I just want the best books about numerology- new ones or second-hand it doesn't matter. PLEASE let me know where I can find them. I repeat: I am not joking. I would be willing to fly to America or the UK IF the books can be found, but unobtainable outside the US/UK.

I would very much appreciate your help.

I've only ever read "Star Signs" which I thought was available everywhere. There are numerous websites you could check out. The thing is, I don't feel that most other systems work, only Linda's consistently works for me, so I've kinda closed myself off to other systems, and wrote a program (below) based on this one. What I'll do is, copy this thread over to the "Through the looking Glass" forum so Aselzion can have a squize. That dude has a wealth of info about these things.

Greetings...

I'd say that these books have been most helpful to me, of course we are all different. As Dean says, he has closed himself off to any other systems but the Chaldean, as he found them less than helpful.

My approach is to use them both. Test them for yourself and see what works for you. I would not say that one was inherently BETTER than the other, but they give information in slightly different ways.

The 2 main systems under consideration are the Chaldean System, taught by Linda in Star Signs, and the Pythagorean System.

Regardless of which system one uses, the MEANING of the numbers are the Same, it is only the steps used to arrive at the numbers that differ.

For my money, these books probably should be at the top of your list (in no particular order):

Cheiro's Book of Numbers by Cheiro

The Kabala of Numbers by Sepharial

Numerology and the Divine Triangle by Faith Javane and Dusty Bunker

Numerology and Your Future by Dusty Bunker

Key to the Universe
and
Key of Destiny (2 books in a series) by Harriette and F. Homer Curtiss

The Thought Dial by Sydney Omarr

There are zillions of books out there on Numerology. These are the ones that I can remeber having referred to most often.

Good Luck and bright blessings...

A

P.S. Thanks for the vote of confidence, Dean!

Aselzion,

Thanks! I almost missed your reply! I'm going to search for the books you recommended ASAP. But I wonder how I can get some of those which might be out of print- the chances are I probably will have to take a trip to the US- but I'm broke and I'm trapped...

Thanks anyway. You've been very helpful
