I was wondering what your perception of this card was, what would you make of it? I have the Aleister Crowley Thoth set, and I was messing with it the other night, I got these three cards: Wealth,Luxury and the Devil. This was about a good friend of mine.IP: Logged |

TheDevil tarot card number: 15astrological sign: capricorn positive associations with this tarot card: permanance, commitment negative associations with this tarot card: entrapment, lust, greed, ignorance, anger, tyranny, obsession The Devil is not all bad, if marriage or commitment to a relationship is under consideration and this card falls in a favourable position in a reading The Devil is a good omen regarding most other issues this card is not a very positive one. The Devil symbolizes lust of the flesh, temptation and addiction which don't tend to lead to favourable outcomes concerning relationships this card can warn against obsession or people that are no good for us and prompts you to to examine the situation carefully The Devil stands for a warning against the destructive consequnces of your actions motivated by greed, lust and power more positively, the Devil can be a sign that you are gaining control, or at least awareness, of your weaknesses or addictions always consider your motives when The Devil appears, it is a helfpul indicator for you to change course whilst you still can. ------------------ Giving up doesn't always mean you are weak, sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go IP: Logged |

Nam, I am not an expert, but learnign the basics. Now look at all the cards you have now, Wealth, Luxury, and The Devil. And look at Devil Card's definition. The Devil stands for a warning against the destructive consequnces of your actions motivated by greed, lust and power more positively, the Devil can be a sign that you are gaining control, or at least awareness, of your weaknesses or addictions Link it all, and you get the picture. ------------------ Giving up doesn't always mean you are weak, sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go IP: Logged |

NAMyou said you got wealth, luxury and the devil when you presented this question to the cards? "wanting to know about this person and wanting to know what does he represent in your life" maybe who he is in life is in dealing with something that has created success for him but offers many temptations. it looks like it could go both ways as far as who he is and what he represents in your life as far as you being a witness to it and maybe as some sort of influence into your wants, seeing what he is in life - do you want to be a part of what he is involved with somehow? I don't want temptations, false hopes, or a failing future; I want real unconditional love and he says that is what he is and what he offers. I am trying to find out where I stand.IP: Logged |

NAM, The devil can mean many things, and some of it is positive- for example in soulmate readings it can mean a karmic connection between you two. In the context of Wealth, Luxury, and the Devil though, I would say that it is telling you that he is concerned with materialistic affairs and being comfortable. Was this a relationship reading that you pulled these cards from? What is it that you want to know about your relationship? Explain your questions to me in detail and I would be happy to do a reading for you. IP: Logged |

I want to know if your cards think this is the one and if it is going to be a hard relationship, he doesn't seem to have the same meaning of love as I do.I hope that^ are fair questions to ask. Thank you! IP: Logged |

You feel like he is your wish come true, the man that you have been looking for. He is your soulmate, but he has some thinking to do. He has to make a life altering decision about your relationship. I don't know what it is. Your intentions for the relationship are that you are going to retreat and let the relationship rest. You are disappointed in the relationship. His intentions are that he is thinking about the relationship and remembering the past. Unfortunately, it looks like you will seperate for a little while to look within yourself. What can change everything is if you are both more sensitive to each other's feelings and if you are both able to understand what the other is going through.Hope this helped, Sunny ------------------ Sun Scorp Moon Cancer Leo Rising IP: Logged |

Thank you.I think there is some truth to that reading since I do not know what will the outcome of this will be, most times I feel as the teacher sometimes I feel as the student. One thing for sure is I don't feel complete.

Pardon for saying this, you refer to him as my soulmate, I never thought he was my soulmate, I must say I am intrigued as what do you guys call soulmates because I thought certain way would make you feel in the presence of your soulmate and I don't feel like that with him, but I have felt like that with someone else, so what about the other guy, what do you think about that...Thank you and sorry to bother so much! sometimes I feel I don't want to know but the curiosity is killing me, I wish I had the patiemce to sit back and relax. It is my own fear of not choosing right. Well, first I want to say that one can have more than one soulmate, and that there are different kinds of soulmates. Perhaps I was picking up on the wrong guy. Why don't you give me both guy's names and I will see what I get. Please be sure to specify which guy is which. ------------------ Sun Scorp Moon Cancer Leo Rising IP: Logged |

I would love to talk about the different kinds of soulmates though. Seems to me these are more of like different levels of friends, I know when I am in love with one person I can not be in love with another one. But... views have gotten a bit muddy lately.IP: Logged |

Well, if I have to look within myself for answers and go by FEEL I am going to say as some of her clients said: "I know what it feels to be with the one, the only one" but, if by freewill that one decides to look away and not recognize me than there is nothing I can do, I will not obsess over him and I will not impose, I will gracefully walk away, as much as it hurts and I will probably end up sharing my life with another soulmate or as I like to call them "best friends" because friends love each other, friends help and are there for us, but does this "best friend" make you feel complete in a spiritual/chemical level? ... I am going to say no.*insert big "blah" smiley here* which is how I feel , I just exist to exist.

Personally, I think that in a relationship if the surrounding cards are positive, the Devil card can also be very positive. For me when the Devil card appears it points out that the two people are brought together by fate rather than pure coincidence: soul mates I'd say, however, there are some obstacles that are presently preventing them to be together. So like they are meant to meet and even to become attracted one to another, but there are problems they need to overcome before the road clears.IP: Logged |
