They usually start hanging out in the house in the winter. That's weird. I would think they would be spring bugs. ------------------ "Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia." Charles Schultz IP: Logged |

Randall, you attract the sweetest of our small ones of nature. You must have a beautiful aura. my humourous side when I read this thread title went back to Rodney Dangerfield. The 1992 soccer movie. Here's a majestic mini film of one taking flight ~ for you Randall. http://youtu.be/MkL7qyOZu5k 🌿🐞🌿 IP: Logged |

When I was a kid, I saw a ladybug in a spider web. I rescued it and pulled off the web that was stuck to it. I thought it was probably useless if it had been bitten. But after I cleaned it up, it flew away. That made me so happy. My only regret was that I then killed that spider. IP: Logged |

"But after I cleaned it up, it flew away. That made me so happy. My only regret was that I then killed that spider." Randall, you now have a deep connection with them. It's sort of a karmic bond. They remind you who you are! You're not a predator. you're gentle and kind. I think because they are beetle family, they might be a Western (maybe some Europe?) type scarab. As it's commonly known, scarabs were revered by the ancient Egyptians. Have you looked to see if your heritage comes from areas where these type beetles originated? that would be fascinating if you saw something because not all animals are common to some families. (along with yhe heraldry animal(s) ..) I have seen the grasshopper relate with some families. The insect world is huge. Though they are small, it was so elegant to see that ladybug take off on her flight. ☺ IP: Logged |
