Has anyone heard of "Karma Cards: A New Age Guide to Your Future Through Astrology"? It is by Monte Farber. I have heard of him through something online, like a newsletter or website or something. The store that I bought them at didn't have any new decks, so they sold the sample deck to me (already opened) for just a couple bucks. It's really cool, it has cards seperated into categories: Planets, Houses, and Signs. And then you take the cards and ask either an action or outcome question and make a sentence out of the cards. For example: "What should I do about this person that I am attracted to?" (action question) and then it gives you an answer for your mind, body, and soul. The thing is, it gives really weird answers, that usually don't even make sense to me. You are supposed to use your intuition but that hasn't helped me with these cards yet. See, here's what I got as the answer to this question: "What will be the outcome of my relationship with D Man?" So I got Jupiter in Scorpio in the 8th House, which says: Spritual: The Granting of Purification to resurrect personal power. Mental: Blessings from the secrets of The Mysteries of Life. Physical: Good Fortune resulting from the power of A Major change. Have no idea what that means. So my point is, does anyone have any experience with these cards? I have had them for years and just don't use them much. Do you think that knowledge of astrology would apply in the interpretations? If you do have this deck, have you found it useful and accurate? I've never heard of the cards, but it seems like they'd be VERY useful for an astrologer if you just used your own interpretations, rather than the ones indicated by the deck...For instance, I might interpret the cards you pulled as saying:
The outcome of your relationship with D Man will be expansion of your worldview(Jupiter) through personal transformation (Scorpio, 8th House)...the relationship will force you to confront many of your secret and unconscious motivations, especially when it comes to personal power and power over other people, and ultimately this kind of deep look inside will be fortunate for you, leading you to understand yourself better. If it's a romantic/sexual relationship, you'll experience some form of personal transformation through what you learn about each other sexually. It sounds like a really interesting deck to me...I'd love to get a reading from it! IP: Logged |

I don't know if your still there, or still care, lol.
But I've had these cards for yearssssss.
Are you reading then in the proper order. If you aren't they will make no sense at all.
And I found that you hafta kinda have a creative imagination, to get the message. Like, you may have to interpret it, not from the exact wording, but what other words or symbols it reminds you of. That makes no sense.
Any way, I have all of Monte Farber stuff, and his wife/partner, their cards and oracle sets are beautiful. The wife does all the artwork herself.IP: Logged |
