Does anyone light candles on the full moon? I haven't done this for awhile but i did tonight..I also listened to a wiccan full moon ritual.

I have 8 going right now. Five tea lights and three others. Usually I don't but decided to earlier tonight for the heck of it.

That's so weird i had to go and count mine i have 8 also. 2 pink 2 red 1white a green one that is burgundy inside a blue and a green and another green

I used to start them on the new moon and burn them until the full moon.. putting your intentions of what your trying to attract.. Green money,prosperity fertility of the earth for gardening health, white can be for any purpose, Blue also health, there are many varied opinions of what the colors are for..I used to have a really good book on candle magic but i haven't seen it in years

There really wasnt much of a reason I lit mine except it was a full moon and I had just cleaned up my apt and candle light is always nice and I love the scent they give off.

I do it for no reason whatsoever -

green ones - with money scattered around for prosperity
white for protection -usually light three for each of my kids
and red - for unity

I just do it anytime I feel like it. I think my bf wonders why there is money always scattered around my candles.

definately on the new year though, I made a list of all the things I wanted in my life, had my bf do the same and lit his, mine and ours in the center, for unity. I know I do wierd stuff, but It beats going to the parties for me, I perfer to do something like what I did.
