I posted this over at UC but it should have gone here <spanks self>I was playing around and found this.. Homemade yes/no/maybe cards. Do you ever have a question that you really want a direct answer to? Well now you can! Here is what you do. Take 3 blank index cards and write in the middle of one, Yes, another write, No, and then the last one write Maybe. You can also decorate the cards. I just put harmonizing words on mine. To use them, go into a light meditative state while shuffling the three cards and asking your "yes or no" question. When you feel ready, place your cards face down on a table, a floor, a bed, wherever... Now close your eyes again, take your left hand (if you are left handed then use your right) and slowly move it just above the cards. If it helps take a deep breath and relax. Keep your question in mind and when you feel a change in vibration in a card, or a pull to a card go ahead and place your hand on it. Open your eyes and pick it up to get your answer. To ensure you are getting the correct answers to your questions, only ask questions in the beginning that you know the answer to. When you feel confident then go on to asking questions you do not know the answer to. Have fun!! IP: Logged |

I just had a great idea for a book: Divination For Dummies. ------------------ "The earth is not given to us by our mothers and our fathers, it is borrowed from our children." IP: Logged |

Oooh, this is great. Can you explain what a light meditative state is? IP: Logged |

It's just being focused on your question and intent for the reading with no distractions.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

And I would say turn off the tv and radio unless you have some pleasant New Age music. And turn off cell phones. Candles and incense would help.IP: Logged |

Sit quietly and watch (or listen to) your breathing for a few minutes and a light meditative/trance state comes naturally. ------------------ www.tarot-advice.co.uk IP: Logged |

*bump*------------------ "All deaths are suicides, do you realize that? Every single one. The only distinction is that, with some people, suicide is a subconscious choice, and with others it's a conscious choice. Otherwise, those who commit suicide and those who succumb to accident, illness or "old age," die for exactly the same reason: belief in the inevitability of death." Linda Goodman IP: Logged |

Someone should modernize I Ching.------------------ "All deaths are suicides, do you realize that? Every single one.
