The court hearing about custody and visitation hours. The father of the baby (we are not married) was verbally abusive during my pregnancy. Therefore I broke it off (I had high risk pregnancy). 3 weeks before my due date he brought me to court since then I was in a court 2 times!!!! and the 4th time will be on 17-MAR-2011. and our baby will be 4 months on 16-MAR-2011! Every time, He initiated the court hearing. So you can imagine how I spend my spare time .... in court. I am tired and broke IP: Logged

Even though I am tired and broke, I am happy. My baby is healthy,happy and cute as a button Love her to pieces. Unfortunately with her father it is another story. The guy is relentless. I wanted to issue a RO against him (I had all the grounds)but I did not (basically I was hoping not to worsen the situation) Now, I regret I did not. But what is done or not done is done Now, it is a mess. But sooner or later it will end. and I will have my life back. However, can you imagine go to court (with our attorneys) every month? Second of all let me tell you what happend in a court today. As usual It was ugly. The father of my baby and his laywer used character assocination technique. Used ridiculous arguments like I am withholding the baby (she is only 4 months old) from seeing her father. I have never ever done so. The Judge allowed me to talk in court. I stated my opinions about several subjects. So to make story short. I think the Judge will make a ruling (temporary or final) it remain to be seen. The ruling is 1. No overnights 2. Increased day visitation hours (mon, tues,wendsday from 930 -430) 3. I HAVE SOLE CUSTODY of my baby!!!!!! I am pleased (very as a matter of fact). But I am concern about 26 hours of week visists. But she is his baby too. So I am ok with that too. (for now) if he proves himself he is a good father. i will never have any objections to such a long visitation hours. the father of the baby is extremely upset. because he did not expect such a ruling. First of all he did not expect such long visitation hours. second no overnights and most of all that I have sole custody. What is really interesting, during my pregnancy he told me he will babysit our baby 3 days a week, but he will not pay CS as he does not have money (He is PostDoctoral). After he brought me to court (I did not ask for CS money mind you)HIMSELF. he is paying CS and babysit our baby 3 days a week. IP: Logged

He was hoping to get 50% physical custody. Second of all, I think he was extremely upset with me for ending a short lived rel. He has horrable abandonment issues.But i did not have any other choice as my pregancy was a priority and he was verbally abusive. (no physical abuse). Anyways, waiting for the judge letter What I think his main weakness is his arrogance. He told me "I will outsmart anybody". Well... he can not outsmart the LAW. Law is a Law is a LAW IP: Logged
