The thing is, with Astrology they say yes in regards to a particular personal situation. Its was a forecast reading. Tarot says no to this forecast. I cant help but thinking which one is more reliable. lol. IP: Logged |

Astrology is more broad and complex. Tarot is more at the moment.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

Try both of them together for confirmations on a matter e.g for timing, if my reading suggests a time frame, I will use astrology to look at transits for that time period. ------------------ Pity from an Aries is worse than their contempt \m/ www.lenormanddraws.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

If you're into Tarot, then doing both would be good...unless they seem to conflict each other (then you might have to dig deeper). Astrology shows more of a range of what could happen, but we still have free-will. Tarot would be more short-term, and the future can always be changed.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Greetings...They both work wonderfully, when applied correctly and with reverence. The Tarot is much more subjective in terms of the emotional connection you have with your deck, and the time at which you ask your question. It is a very accurate mirror of the Now, which can then be projected into the Future, all things being Equal. Astrology is a much more objective approach, and relies less on intuition than a deep knowledge of the Science and of course the Art. If you are in need of a rapid look into a situation Tarot may be better for that. When you have a chance to examine more "facts and figures" than astrology is probably better suited to the task at hand. As with anything, the key is to remain objective, and if you cannot, then it is better to seek your answers from another, who may be better equipped to read beyond the "feelings". I have been a bit ill recently, hoping my ramblings are making sense. Blessings... A

Well-said, as always. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

Even if they conflict they can both be true. An example for me was a job I had a choice of starting in one particular time or another. I looked at the astrology (which gave one answer) then I looked at the tarot (which gave me the opposite answer).I chose to go with the tarot, and starting the job when I did changed the nature of the work I did there. It didn't work out for the longterm - as predicted by astrology. However, the time I did start led to something different happening that was excellent for me (as predicted by the tarot). Both true at the same time. Given the choice, unless it was a date for a marriage or something concrete that cannot be changed later, then I'd go with tarot. But things natalised on bad days tend not to work out in themselves. ------------------ Classic Sherlock IP: Logged |
