Have any of you ever thought of a song for a day, two days, just wondering why you haven't heard it recently and then it comes on on the radio.Do you think it's 'just one of those incidents' or do you think of what Jung said, that your thinking about it led it to you being around when it was played on the radio? This has happened to me on several occasions, too often for me to dismiss it as 'just a coincidence' although I would like to....as it is the most rational explanation. IP: Logged |

I've had many times where I would have a song in my head and change the channel (not a fan of radio commercials, so I surf) to find it playing. Maybe we can pick up on radio waves somehow? ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Of course, with you it's more precognitive. I don't think it's a coincidence at all. Next time it happens, look at the lyrics more closely.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." It's a relief to know that I'm not the only one...PS I would have replied sooner but it was a bank holiday weekend in the UK.

How cool. I didn't know that. Something similar happened to me recently. I watched a romantic comedy in the evening, and the theme song was a song from the 60's! And occasionally I listen to a random radio station in the morning, and guess what? The same song played the next morning! A song from the 60's!! What are the chances? Synchronicity. =) IP: Logged |

Two small TV-related coincidences, probably nothing:1) Someone on the Sweet peas forum mentioned David Bowie and Labyrinth; I had no idea what it was about and just skimmed over the post and must have put it out of my mind - the next day I watch something on TV, can't even remember what programme it was, must have just picked it at random - the guy mentions David Bowie in Labyrinth. 2) Was thinking of someone who oversees and regulates the selling of personal data and how to find him and contact him; the next day on TV, he pops up on the channnel that I've chosen, at random. I know, these are so ordinary, but sometimes, I think the universe sends us information we're looking for. Crazy idea, I know! IP: Logged |

Yep, when you put the idea out there into the ethers, the Uni-verse sets it into motion. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |
