Went there to see/feel the vortex energy.. it was amazing and beautiful. While there I also got to see the Grand Canyon. Truly God's country!! When I got home, I had received Doreen Virtue's new Angel Tarot deck... it is beautiful, very positive and full of the mystery and magic of the original Tarot, but well suited for those that fear some of Tarot's imagery. Higher Arcana 13, traditionally entitled Death is renamed Release... Higher Arcana 15, traditionally the Devil is reinterpreted as Ego... and 16, the Tower is imaged as Life Experience. Each of the Higher Arcana is also related to one of the 15 Archangels. The Lower Arcana are given as suits of Fire, Water, Air and Earth and illustrated with dragons, mermaids, unicorns and fairies respectively. Key words are also given to the Court Cards in terms of life situations and the types of people signified. Each card has a brief meaning across the bottom, making the deck ideal for beginners, yet sufficiently succinct to offer new wisdom to seasoned readers. The colors are rich and filled with light.
