I hate this card lately, one - because it's been coming up a lot. Two, because I don't really understand it's whole meaning, front to back. I have a vague idea about it meaning it's a waiting period, self-sacrifice (I know it's ruled by Pisces), transition but... other cards I can look at them from different ways and get different intuitive meanings. This one I'm always stumped and it's frustrating!IP: Logged |

I view it as something hanging things up. It could mean to be patient and wait it out, but it could also mean to take action and shake things up if you want results. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Yeah I'd agree with Randall. I hate it when it comes up in a reading. In the Zodiac tarot there's a great image of people being sat in a theatre watching a film [for the hanged man] and I think it's a brilliant choice. So often you're sat there feeling like you're watching but not participating in the action.....it's just waiting and waiting and waiting... IP: Logged |
