HiSo I've been looking round for a Lenormand deck and even got a blue owl one by mistake. The mistake was that the insets contain verses, often confusing. The results were very interesting, but I'd really love to get one with cartomancy insets to be on the safe side Anyway, I was wondering what is supposed to be the most advisable imagery? Blue owl? or are there better ones? I understand there's also one by Laura Tuan and something with Austrian paintings? Thanks for your insight  IP: Logged |

hi andstuffwhen it comes to lenormand, the images are merely symbols, so I totally advise you go for something with lesser distracting imagery. Lenormand is not like tarot, so images should be as simple as they can so that you can work with them. however, suits, numbers & playing cards inserts play an important role when you are reading them. Trust me, when it comes to lenormand you will not want something too elaborate in terms of painting...because that will simply distract your mind off the main thing, the symbol & its meaning. ------------------
