FARMERS HOPE INN was built in the mid-1700s, originally as a farmhouse, but soon after turned into a tavern or a 'public house of entertainment in 1812. A copy of the original application for tavern license hangs on the wall today. The tavern is celebrating 200 years of business this year! The Inn has a long & colorful history with high & low times. In the early 1900's, it was renamed Hull's Stagecoach Inn by proprietor, William Hull, close friend to Milton Hershey. It was noted for it's modern sanitary features & healing air.
After a thorough renovation in 2002, it was reopened for business & the original name, Farmers Hope Inn, was brought back! However, in August of 2008, life began to change. There was a two week period where paranormal things were happening at breakneck speed. It climaxed with an extreme happening that has changed, not only the life of the present owner, but the lives of many others!
