Just curious. What are your favourite cards to come up in a reading on relationship? And what are those that make you go: Uoh, No.IP: Logged |

Hi Ceri, my vote is the 2 of cups. I got that card in my most recent tarot reading when I asked about a relationship and I was tickled pink.I've also had the Death card pop up for me twice now...it's made me very nervous. Oh I have one more thing, would you be possibly willing to do a relationship spread for me? I know I didn't make your deadline in personal readings but I have been pining over a relationship for months!! Earlier you helped me confirm some soulmate aspects I had with him and my only other tarot reading about him shows this 2 of cups. Please, please, please...I've been going nuts lately. I know I'm asking a lot, would be willing to give an interpretation at a synastry/composite but you're the master at those as well!! . I'm at literally a complete crossroads in my life right now and could definitely use some answers as to how I proceed with my life/ him...I would be so so so grateful..only if you have a few minutes as I know you are really busy. His name starts with D. Please pretty please??!! IP: Logged |

I find The Sun to be most fortunate. Death isn't always a bad thing for the relationship itself. But The Tower is. IP: Logged |

TGem,
of all the cards the 2 of cups must be my absolute favourite card, even more than the Majors. (probably closely followed by the Ace o cups and ace of wands). It is just a personal thing, but it is my personal soulmate-card. As for the reading, I can`t do it right now, as some workrelated things came up and I feel a little depleted right now. Maybe better make a thread on personal readings asking for your own reading.

Randall, I like the Sun. I mean who doesn`t? Thinking of it in terms of relationships, it has that carefree, sunny, warm, joyul, energetic yet relaxed, optimistic bright vibe to it. As for the Tower, actually this one has been coming up quite often for new relationships, in which the sexual attraction was so strong that it pretty much overturned everything else. For myself it also came up for days, when I had a life changing encounter or when something happened that was a quantum leap for me. For me it depends a little on the situation, if it is a good or bad card. If something has been stuck in my life and needed to have a change but was resisting it, the Tower seemed to have been very positive in terms of blasting blockages away. However, sometimes though it means that too much is blasted away and some of the old that might have been keep-worthy is in ruins. But anyway as I said, most often it has come up for me as a sign of irresistible magnetic sexual attraction. The card of the majors I woudl not want to see is the Hermit btw. IP: Logged |

Yeah, Hermit would be a bad one for relationships. My experience with The Sun is that it signifies a baby on the way, but not in a struggling kind of way--moreso in a new arrival for a couple who is happy and stable.IP: Logged |

The Sun can be negative in that someone gets burnt, or the truth is illuminated - I've seen that on another forum. The Two of Cups is lovely, and more stable than the Ace. The Ace can signify tears at times. Ace of Pentacles is nice, The Empress. Four of Wands. Ceri, may i email you about this? I need to practice and get nervous offering readings online. IP: Logged |

Scary ones: Tower, 7 cups, most pentacles, love should not include the earthly elementI only have one fav, 6 cups, nothing compares to this one

Ceri: what's your thought about the 9 of cups? I would think getting both the 9 and 2 of cups in a love reading would be significant? IP: Logged |

Sorry for my late reply. The 9 of cups is called the wish card, and I figure most people have a wish about the one that they love so that is why I think that. IP: Logged |

Hey Ceri,I recently ordered the Greer deck which I may start using for love readings, because of the bright colours and the 'close-ups' from the court cards. I thought it might be more pleasant for clients to look at then my absolute favourite: Rider Waite. But then again, this deck might disappear in the closet as well, because I only ever 'trust' my RW. That's just me though. Hope you'll find a lovely deck EDIT: I just see I totally misread your question. You asked for the cards! Good morning to me, lol. Love cards: 10 of cups, ace of cups, ace of pentacles, 6 of cups, 2 of cups, 4 of wands, The Star, The Sun. All highly depends on the supporting cards though. A 10 of cups with a 7 of cups and Star would tell me it's fantasy lalaland for example. IP: Logged |
