Birdy picked these cards for me in rexponse to a question - What does the future hold for us (me and bf). She was only using major cards. Could someone please help with the interpretation. These three cards were a follow on from a previous question - How did things change at our last meeting - the cards she picked were not so great - The wheel of fortune rx, The star rx, The lovers Now I am wondering if the Wheel of fortune for the future means that what has been lost will be found again. Hierophant rx could mean a non-conventional arrangement or it could mean broken promises. Taken in context of the rest what would you think it indicates. IP: Logged |

I am the only one. His work is his first love though and it very much restricts how often we can meet. We live a fair distance apart.IP: Logged |

I asked you that question because of the Hierophant RX & The Lovers in your spread.
I rather see cards with the minors in there too btw.
I would read them as follows (and I'm assuming that there was a break-up): The second question seems to show he doesn't see a chance for renewal/but you are still kind of stuck with each other though/no progress made & that the hope & love shared in the past (and the expectations of a future together) faded which makes him reconsider his options & wanting to look elsewhere/other women. The first one is probably referring to the break up (if that's the case now?) Were you an item long? ) and probably pointing to a parting ways.
Sorry. That's how I would read those.  Edit: Can you give me a little more background on the situation? And why you asked those questions?

Thanks for the extra info. That puts it in a slightly different light.
I think the Star is showing you the actual distance then.
And The Hierophant Rx then also shows the unconventionality of this. Then the wheel RX (difficulty going anywhere/feels stuck), because of the distance (star RX) which needs to be made smaller or if impossible "I need to decide if I can still do this." So he is probably going over his options now.

No. Not too far fetched. Tarot is an excellent tool of asking these questions. I think he's distancing himself as you are feeling. But the best would still be to pick up the phone and ask him what's going on. Looking at the cards I also think it wouldn't hurt to ask if perhaps someone else caught his attention and/or if he is thinking that a lover closer to home might fit better. If you'll just ask those questions then hopefully you two can have an open conversation about it  Good luck! Edit: thanks for the link! I'll check it out
