Hi Vesta!! PC's!! my favorite cartomancy tool....okay so i'm in a bit of a rush, but will post a lot of links for you later on.

The key to playing cards is in the magic three number, Suits, colour, numbers.

Regina Russel has a good book about it, but when i post again later today will give you some online links for now.

i checked that website, the meanings are okay, but i don't know where she got some from.

English playing card meanings usually have a different meaning, than Italian,Spanish and French one's, and even Russian and Ukranian one's are different.

Just use numerology and what the suit theme is about, and you will start getting an idea.
Practice everyday by doing yourself a day reading and then see how the cards corresponded to that, and make your own notes about it.

i will come back to this later, with meanings from all the above, and u just go with the one which resonates with you the most!

if you want post your cards for the day, and i can also contribute to what i know, as i got it from the ppl in my family, and not always like in the texts. (for example to me the ace of spades, yes like described, but also sometimes means a new beginning, and this is just one)

Well, I pulled a few cards and it seems to make sense to me. Though I don't believe it was the daily pull it feels more like future events.

Past - king of hearts
Present - ace of clubs
Future - 3 of clubs

I am not sure if you can pull clarification cards for them like you can do with tarot but I did.

Past - jack spades
Present - king of clubs
Future - 9 hearts

To me it seems like the king of hearts was G a good man, well intentioned but didn't didn't work out. That is evident but in my readings it shows someone new in the near future so Ace clubs and king of clubs suggests to me a good man who will be faithful and true in his affections possibly wealthy or at least no money worries.
And then in the future position the 3 clubs and 9 hearts
To me seems that it will be a second marriage where things will be very good for me.

So, how did i do was I close or just way off ?

Hi Vesta, sorry for the 'latish' reply, but i kind of blew up my laptop last night, so finally got a kind neighbour to let me use theirs, and all i'm doing is checking this website

okay now that, that was out of the way... with the playing cards, yes you can use clarifiers, and you can use whatever 'system' you feel works for you. 3 cards is very few to tell things, though for starters it is a great way to learn.

what you did is an 'answer spread' ...you pull 3 cards, and lay them out and then lay out another 3 and start reading them.

so the KH and JS together, to me this is telling me about someone you were in a longterm relationship with, even a husband, (for me personally the heart people are always married or in more or less 'married' relationship) ...with the Jack of Spades, this is defiently an ex....someone you really loved, who is no longer with you, you broke up or divorced.

then the present Ace of Clubs and King of Clubs....defiently a lot of thinking going on with you....a lot of premonitions and a lot of great ideas. If you are a writers, this with the king of clubs, shows yes put down on paper whatever is on your mind. on the other hand this shows going from between reality to imagination so easily, you are thinking of something great, that is yet to manifest (king of clubs). but a lot of the great things we had today started out as dreams, the person simply knew which one to pick. So yes whatever you are thinking, if it is actually really nice or dreamy, write it down. so it is out of your mind, and somewhere else...and then

now the future 3 of clubs and 9 of hearts, a dream that is going to manifest. usually when we ask the universe to send us a good man/woman, and leave it a that, without specifying who, (other ppl have their own angel guardian who may be granting them other things after all) things come true. and i think this is what will happen for you, this could be a year from now though, as definitely something September-ish about the whole thing

I did break up with my love / soulmate and it was hard but I am putting it behind me and have chosen to move forward.
It has not been on my mind as much recently as the new man that is supposed to come into my life. I have just been wondering who he is, what he looks like, will he accept me and not take off like G did. Just lots of questions in my mind. And I have been having dreams telling me he is coming soon. Someone from my past apparently so I am looking forward to it. You said maybe in a year or something september about it. I heard October whispered in my ear a few weeks ago.
Plus other reading pointing to October so it sounds like sometime in the autumn which is great. I was hoping it would be this year as it just seems like eternity without someone to love. At least I have that to look forward to and it keeps me going.

You mentioned before about a book that you use. Would you mind posting the name of the book I am always looking for good books that help me to learn how to read better for myself and others. I believe that clarification cards are helpful to me when reading as it tends to give me more information on the subject and feel I get or give a better reading in the end.

Thank you for helping me to learn this method I will keep up with it as I have with tarot and hopefully get better at reading soon. The only way to learn is to practice.

I was curious about what might transpire today,

I drew the 8 spades
Clarifier 7 of clubs

The 8 of spades is a hard one to figure out but to me it would be something very troubling. And the 7 of clubs to me would suggest that it would come through a man.

Well, right after I pulled cards my husband whom I despise told me he wanted to talk about a divorce and me moving out of my home.

So, that came true ! God I hate my life right now and starting to feel angry at soulmate for leaving me here in this crap. I need help I sure hope the new love comes soon I feel so desperate for help. I just feel like there is no justice in this world. I know that if I told the truth about situation with soulmate coming the court would take my children away as they could not believe the truth. And yet I feel like the only way through for me is by telling the truth. I can't do this alone I truly hope the new love ( soulmate) comes soon. The cards seem to indicate within a month. I sure pray it comes true. My family is against me and I have no where to turn.

Back to cards would you say that the pull for today was accurate ? I am not quite sure how to interpret 8 of spades it just suggests something evil, upsetting or troubling.

so anyway i come to share some links, and read about the bad news

i understand why you want your saviour now...who in the world can stand that situation???

but am sorry real worried about both the ace of clubs and 3 of clubs, the king of clubs is a man whose feet are not on solid ground right now, so he hasn't manifested, even if you are really thinking of him.

so no don't tell your soon to be this divorce wanting husband of yours. Where are you? i am sure there is a law against throwing a person out of their home...if it is your house, till him to leave, if he must.

but yes there is an imbalance in the universe, and a real MIS-understanding of the power of attraction....it's not what we want the most...it's what we are vibrating to that we will get. hence why once again i will advocate meditations that help us with being detatched, not in a cold way, but in way to make sure the outside bad things don't cut us so deep ever again.
happened to me a few years ago was so frustrated but thought i will get what i want because i wanted it so badly....all what happened is i got more frustrating moments in life, and turned a blind eye to the good...because i want the source of my frustration to show up and solve that mess....it never happened, then the day that i finally resolved 'f**k it i'm over it, and i mean it this time...today is the first day of this new phase' i got an email i didn't even want to answer.....so yeah WTH with the universe?? i don't know...but don't let more obstacles, make you hold tighter to the wish, as this won't end up being any good, neither for you, or for your kids.

cat and mouse, your next love, will show up when you stop looking, as people like the chase...and somehow like cat and mouse...when the mouse is no longer being chased, he'll peek to go "what happened, where did that thing go?"

okay i hope you know all the above was written with a lot of empathy, and no judgement at all....i know no one understand how deep the levels of hurt at times, when it is an abnormal situation, and they end up giving 'boxed, previously tried for other things' advise...when it won't work, it has to be journey we make ourselves.

ANYWAYYYYYYYYYS no i don't like the 8 of spades combination with the 7 of clubs, coz the first talks of bad luck, and troubles, your hands are tied, is the worst part...but this card itself is telling you 'wait, don't act, unitl things are clearer' so the bad luck card itself, is telling u to wait, so it doesn't get worst.

the 7 is telling you that you are drawing, more of 'where you are it' to your world. you are feeling so unhappy, somehow this is the sad thing with power of attraction, it works on negativity, as that is what we are always trying to let go....and letting go, is how things become a reality...we want to let go of the unhappiness, and suddenly it takes over. try to put yourself in a better environment...just tell yourself 'okay whatever our relationship has lived by it's due date, and anyway it's not like i was happy, for all what we did'.....so yeah i don't know the full story, but the 8 is telling u it knows you are at one of your darkest moments, but i'm keeping up the faith because of your 9 of hearts in yesterdays draw, somehow you will 'tune in' to the right frequency in a year or so, and that is when you let go of, neediness, desperation, and hopelessness, and a good thing will happen at last.

i'm also guessing your husband has been thinking of the divorce since July-August....

anyway sorry but the cards i'd read as in a year...if anything something like the next 3 months may not be your best moment, but after that in 9 month, you will finally get the break you deserve, and it'll be when you are no longer expecting....okay that was long, but please don't say anything about a soul-mate to your husband!

also what i tell u i know by word of mouth, from much older family members who passed it down, but the meanings are all so close and similar to what is in the books. I really like both the Leo Martello one athe Regina Russel one specifically!

for now hang on there....or work on moving on, and not letting your happiness be placed in anyones hand but your own...like with most people your saviour is you, and has always been placed inside you...but tough circumstances make that hard to believe!

This morning I did a 52 card spread.

Basically it said that there was a break in a relationship where there was dishonesty, and deceit there would be a change of residence. That was in the beginning

Then it mentioned a kind, generous man and a fair haired woman ( me) a warm caring and supportive relationship with this fair haired man who is a water sign.
And that was mentioned in another reading as well. Anyway is is good natured and very kind. A wish or dream fulfilled. A couple who will love each other very much almost lovesick in a way.

Then goes on to say how others may be very jealous of relationship and talk badly about us ect.. ( But that is their problem to deal with not mine) money should not be a problem. There may be a change to a new home ect...

Overall a very positive reading!
If I read it correctly. And to be honest I think I did as I used the cafe astrology site for definitions. And the first half was dead on. Plus from a reading that someone else did for me a while back it seemed to match her reading so I believe it was pretty close.
