Hello knowflakes,

I have often wondered at the interpretation of some cards like Moon, 7 of swords etc in a reading specially when telling about a person or in a yes or no reading and observed that at times the negative aspect doesn't actually resonate. So I wondered. Could they be positive after all depending on how we take it? And what we do about it?

Today, I was reading a tarot deck called the Star Tarot and the meanings of these cards they have given clicked with me more than those of other decks. eg.

THE MOON

The Moon represents one who has a great deal of magnetism, and like the moon you bring light into darkness. You are very deep and sometimes emotional. You are a true romantic. There is a interest in the mysterious. Dreams, visions, physic phenomenon are areas that you like to explore. The Moon personality trusts in their intuition. Within you there is an inner sense of knowing that flows very deeply. You follow your gut feelings. You are a very private person. When one is as sensitive as you are, you want to make sure you have trust and loyalty before you allow another in. Life will present you with lots of choices between two issues, people, situations, opportunities, what ever it may be, you have the ability to stick to your path and make the choice and move on. The moon's lesson is to be your authentic self without deception to yourself or others and to live with commitment to truth. You understand the Karmic cycle and wish to heal aspects of yourself that don't serve you or your world.

What do you think? Can you share your interpretations of these 'negative' cards here?

To me all cards may carry some negativity. The Sun could indicate that a couple is going to part ways as friends. That said, I don't view the Moon as a negative card.

I love the Moon imagery so much.

Anyways, I've never drawn the Tower card. Either my is life pretty chill or the energies are not compatible (I have very little Pluto action in my chart, Uranus/Saturn in soft aspects) for the card to pop up & describe me .

But I remember once I asked about my ex, and how he felt about me and got Tower + 9 of swords. The reading summed up our relationship so well - there was passion and wild love, we were so magnetised by each other but it did us no good. He was tormented by his own demons after we broke up (the demons being the reason) and I felt so annihilated by the fact I had to break up and not helping him out. The entire situation was on my mind 24/7. At the end of the day, I would be so tired, physically, just the thought of it wearing me down,it was annoying and sad at the same time. My sleep wasn't the best either, back then.

So 9 of swords sucks. But I liked what Tower had to say.

Thank you guys for your inputs. Yes I too don't think that tower is all that bad. And negativity of positive cards is interesting too. I had not given it much thought.......

Waiting to see what others have to say..
