Pretty much echoing what the other posts have posted. Forgive me if it's a bit monotonous or repetitive.Ace of Swords-Star-Six of Swords Rx
I used to say that Star was kind of like the great ability to make great things happen and seemingly waste.
I see the 6 of Swords in this sense literally reversed, and while there are rainstorms continuously falling, the guy takes refuge under the boat, the 6 swords used as poles for this makeshift tent, and is able to experience a brief reprieve during tumultuous emotional times.
I do this weird thing from time to time with reading the number and associating it when cards that aren't in the reading.
Seems to be currently stuck between a rock (Ace - 6 = 5 of Swords) and a hard place (Ace + 6 = 7 of Swords) in which he is left with crappy solutions for crappy situations. The Star XVII reduces to 8. Strength and its associated challenges are a theme here:
If we're to think on the image of the lady with the lion, I tend to think that his feelings for you are that you are that shelter from the storm. The circumstances aren't ideal(who goes around looking for lions to tame?) and he's a bit at a loss to wonder why you would seemingly waste your time on him(think of the RW Star, who pours one vase of water on the ground. The water is seemingly wasted, but nourishes the plants it touches and naturally flows back to the source. Star also has the 8 stars in the sky).
You give him the ability to be able to control the wild part of him and allow him to sort out and make sense of his life.
Hope that helps.
