I have been looking for timing methods with lenormand cards. I recently bought the book - the essential lenormand : your guide to precise and practical fortune telling.
By : Rana George ( Great Book)
She gives clear detailed instructions on spreads, which spreads are best in certain situations, how to read them properly, and how she reads the grand tableau.
Plus lots of great info on cards, physical descriptions and more.
Anyway, when she does a grand tableau she looks for significator ( man, woman or the card you choose) she generally casts cards with a time frame in mind 3 - 6 months ect...
Count the spaces between the significator to the event card. That is your time line + or - one.
One space - 1hour, 1 day, 1week, 1 month, 1 year
Two spaces- 2 hours, 2 days, 2 weeks, 2months, 2 years.
This also applies when you examine the past to the left of significator.
Future positions will represent days ( short period of time ) not months.
I had to try it and sure enough the time frame that I have been getting in my readings showed this way as well.
I had been looking to the end of this week and the darn event card was next to the significator sitting on the house of the day. ( one card - one week )
Don't forget that cards can sometimes have layers to them.
anyway, this is a beautiful method
Also note that if there is more than one person involved it is best if you assign cards to the people involved while shuffling.
