Considering that psychics can have a close intuitive link to anyone they concentrate on, thereby get a feel of their aura, get a sense of issues in their lives, see the future etc. the link could act as a channel for negative things too. I do believe that psychics are very sensitive to others' energies and, therefore, can feel any negative influences much more. So psychic A was knocked back and seriously felt ill because of what either psychic B felt towards her or what psychic B consciously directed towards her. Could someone say if this makes sense. (I will ask try and find out from psychic A) That said, this raises the question - If I'm not sensitive enough to know or feel how another person is affecting me, does that protect me from them? How can one influence another long distance through bad intent? How much power can people wield on us? It raises all sorts of questions. IP: Logged
LostTaurus Knowflake Posts: 962 From: Conway, AR, USA Registered: Jan 2014	posted May 12, 2014 12:25 PM Okay, while I'm not going to bring names to the table here, I do believe I know exactly which two people you're speaking of - I could see it as it was happening, but Person B had, even at that point, left a stronger imprint here than had I (which I'm perfectly content with) and pardon my French, but I don't do p*ssing matches unless I really have a dog in the fight, so I didn't feel anything I had to say would change much. I got then and I get now the strong sense, St@r and Astro, that this was less a conscious act of sabotage than of envy gone to extremes - envy is a bad, bad thing, and isn't listed as one of the seven deadly sins because the word looks cool. I felt then and feel now like Person (I don't feel she's psychic at all...) B felt that 'attaching' herself to Psychic A would somehow gain her more than she had in this respect. It wasn't malicious, but envy in any form is destructive and can be debilitating. Our guides don't need assistance from anyone but us in protecting us - their power is FAR greater than what we can even conceive - but Person B elected herself something of a mortal 'guard dog'...it messes with Devine energy and is incredibly presumptive. It does go to show how psychics can indeed be very sensitive to others' energies, both good and bad. I didn't get what you meant by "Person B elected herself something of a mortal 'guard dog'." That shows good intent, doesn't it? I am wondering why Psychic A could not protect herself though. Perhaps she too has learnt a lesson and will be more vigilant next time. I think we need to be more discerning towards people who offer free readings and such like. Psychic B revealed many insecurities as time passed. IP: Logged

I'm trying as hard as I can to be diplomatic and not 'out' anyone intentionally (though I personally think it needs to be done, I respect the constructs of this board more than to assume that mantle, as nothing more than a contributor). Person B took on a highly defensive, almost territorial sort of role with Psychic A - she would jump to her defense when there was really very seldom much to be defended; she would scold other contributors for having 'the audacity' to ask questions of Psychic A when that was, after all, what Psychic A joined a forum like this to do; and she seemed to have fostered in her own head a delusion of special closeness - a special link - with Psychic B of which I didn't, personally, see any real evidence of existence. Watching that evolve was, for my spiritual state, a real wake-up call. And yes, the insecurities, the manipulative neediness; the passive-aggressive nastiness seemed to rapidly devolve from there, and become more pervasive as it's come along. We do indeed need to better guard ourselves. I sincerely hope that Psychic A's takeaway is one of growth through wisdom. It certainly has been mine. IP: Logged
