A new reader offered free readings. She exuded such warmth and kindness that everyone took up her offer in droves. Her readings were very accurate and insightful. But she stopped with readings after a couple of days. It so happened that another psychic Reader, who was also fairly new to LL, had intercepted her (for want of a better word) and welcomed her (in a sugary sweet way which to me rang alarm bells). I had previously noticed that this second reader had a short fuse.

The first reader had given me her e-mail and I wanted to check if all was okay. It turned out that it wasn't. She reported feeling very drained of energy and ill as if she had been tapped into when offering readings on LL. I immediately suspected the second reader, which she confirmed. The fact that one could be harmed by contact on a website is a scary thought. So many ask for readings from complete strangers, who could be leading them astray, at the very least, if not causing harm.

If I, who is not psychic, could sense that someone on this site has a hidden agenda, I am wondering how come others didn't. Perhaps it was just at that moment that the second reader's jealousy became apparent.

I have been reading about 'dark' energies on this site - http://www.clarity-of-being.org/dark-force-my-own-experiences.htm

The writer claims that channellers and psychics could be, unbeknown to them, conduits of dark energies and the garbage, as he refers to them. That of course is another worrying concern. Basically the upshot is, it is not to safe to seek guidance from others. It is safer to get it from within, for all that you need is within you.

Yes I feel extremely drained after doing people's readings in those" free reading " threads, maybe their psychic energy is taking mine when I do it for them. It's a scary thought. I also become more psychic but more aware of darker energies. I Should stop doing free readings.

As for ridding yourself of negative energies, meditation has been absolutely key for me. To be honest, as crazy as it sounds it started in a closet for me, with nothing but me and a candle, asking to have the weight of those energies lifted from me and taken away. Asking for guidance in never allowing myself to be drawn into it again. And conscious blocking.

Whether you're psychic,empathic...whatever...or not - we all have spirit guides and they are there with you to protect and guide you. They're just waiting for you to ask. And once you do, they will surround you with a ferocious spiritual protection like only your own mother could provide here on earth, I promise. You're viewed as a Divine child, and they were sent specifically for YOU.

I've never used discs, though I'm relearning the benefits of stones from moonstruck. Funnily enough, I was WILDLY fascinated with them as a kid but had put that curiosity aside many, many years ago.
