I am productively and excellently avoiding writing my paper by posting this. But I promise, I PROMISE, to get to work after this. I asked what he's been feeling about me lately (meaning recently, like past couple of weeks or so) if he was missing me/thinking of me.
2 of swords- 6 of cups- The Horned One The Horned One is equivalent to the Devil in number but in this deck it's hard for me to see it as just seduction, obsession, or something bad that is the 'traditional' inerp. http://readingsbydale.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/Death-The-Horned-One-ll.jpg The description of the card in the book: "The decks that feature The Horned One instead of the devil depict a pastoral god with horns, sometimes attended by animals, other times by a lusty couple; the difference being that there are no chains or pain in the scene, only life in its natural state. " Meaning in the book: (Oh jeez this is long) Nature. The call of the wild. Animal impulse and instinct. Primal knowledge. Ancestral memory. Tension between order and chaos. Reconciling the cultured vs. natural state of being. Originality. Desire and fertility. Enchantment, fascination, and magnetism. Healthy competition. The integration of animal behavior and needs with the civilized conscious. the rise of primal instincts such as nesting, nurturing, herding and protecting. The attuning of animal qualities and senses, which can be of great value in agility, cunning, and the intuition of threats or unnatural conditions. The wisdom of the subconscious making its influence felt via one's appetites and aversions. Nature has a cycle and rhythm to regulate out behaviors, keeping balance and order. If oppression, starvation, or cruelty disrupt this order, then abhorrent, chaotic, self-destructive behaviour can ensue, leading to the traditional interpretations of the Devil card that appears in many decks indicating controlling relationships, enslaving obsession, violence, abuse, and addictions. However, unless a negative interpretation is suggested by surrounding cards, the Horned One of this deck is a symbol of healthy, life-enhancing wild nature. IP: Logged |

Seems like he is divided in himself. Trying to leave it behind, but then there's that haunting energy of the Dancing God coming to the surface over & over again.... - Ps: I'm certain you are not studying & checking this thread, lol. - IP: Logged |

Shhhhhhh, Twirl!!!!!! I'm totally studying We haven't really been communicating lately, and there were a couple of times we were supposed to meet up and lift weights but I was tired, and had studying to do. I thought the 2 of swords may refer to that as well. If he's being haunted, serves him right! IP: Logged |

Yeah*, he wants to do you. * The Horned One is the only major card in the spread. He shall prevail. I am thinking the weight lifting companion made up his mind but was swayed by pleasant emotions & fanciful urges in the opposite direction.
ETA: My original thoughts weren't exactly ^... But it may be TMI #InterestingFact IP: Logged |

Well we have a history but then he started dating someone. Since then we haven't been talking much. On my end it's bc I've been trying to create some distance. So if he misses me then good! I'm liking the 6 of cups for emotion, instead of just sexual interest. Am I wrong?IP: Logged |

My 1st thought was - he's trying to keep his cool, at distance, bound in his rationalisations but there we have 6 of Cups as a pleasant memory + Devil to stress just what kind of pleasant memory he's dealing with... As if he's blocking those urges, but they come to him anyway. Masturbation material, essentially. OK NOW BACK TO YOUR BOOKS NOW, NOTHING TO SER HERE. IP: Logged |

I used to get the horned one in readings when i asked about one of my exesThe relationship was mainly sexual, in a kind of not healthy obsessive way..he was addicted to me physically but was unable to step up in other ways, hence the reason he is an *ex* Hope that helps! IP: Logged |
