I thought I would start a thread where we could discuss meanings of cards, when cards are paired and even practice readings then discuss thoughts on readings with each other in order to learn lenormand better.

Anyone game ?

However, the whip can sometimes refer to exercise not always argument it is repettative motion.

Do you belong to a gym ?

Maybe you exercise at gym, meet an older man who has pulled a muscle ? As that can be painful

According to Rana George you always look to middle card in spread as the significator.

So I would def. say an older man 50's and above as Lillie's is always above 50

Could be an argument over something spiritual or something that causes a burden.

I would most likely pull a few extra's to give more detail.

My question has been focused on my soul mates return.

I pulled
The ring - looping back / relationship
The garden - meetings / community where I live ?
The rider

The extra's

the stars ( ring )
The Lillie's ( garden ) meeting with older man he is above 50 I am pretty sure.
the letter ( the rider) I was thinking possibly the 27th of month. As the letter appeared several times in other readings.

If the garden represents meeting and gets clarified by lillies - if we look at lillies as a 'time card' (from Rana George's book) it can signify winter or a long time..
So perhaps meeting in winter?
Rider + letter - you will meet him/ he will bring you a message

I see what you are saying though I have pulled clouds several times for timing which would be June time frame. And confirmed by others that it would be summer time frame.

Well, to me it does seem to work in looking at the chart
The letter is June.
The sun is summer

When I did a star method ( makiel) the other night asking for the day I got the letter crossing the sun.

Cards can sometimes carry a double meaning.

I did read this post but I think you just need find what works for you and stick with it then the cards will reflect that to you. According to Rana.

I know from Rana George they can also describe a person. This was an audio interview she did. I think it is in her book as well. I don't have paperback it is on kindle.

The stork would be tall and thin.

The clover - green eyes, blue eyes as well.

Asking about the future

I got the coffin crossed by the fox ( end of the deception )

The tree ( soulmate card also health) it would be a very healing relationship for me.

The letter ( June or 27th also information )

The stars ( fate , destiny, karma )

The ship ( change, moving, going on a trip or even a ship or a plane. ) I think a car is more of the rider.

Just to see I pulled the sun and the woman with the bouquet.

I love the magic X method it works surprisingly well.

The cross can be tricky as it can be pain, burdens, sorrows but it can also be spiritual it depends on the cards surrounding it.
I still have a hard time with the cross.

Ship + moon + book - movement to do with reputation of the unknown so maybe movement towards psychic powers opening up? I'm not planning a trip this week...
