This may be better in Personal Readings. I tried tarot a long time ago but it did not fit with me. Now, I would not do it, personally, because I feel it is against the Bible but that is my personal opinion. Let me move this to Personal Readings for you, R!------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Go For it. It is Free, of course. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Hi Do you have a deck of cards yet? Tarot cards can give you great insight in your life, your personal development process, advice and more. So yes, I think you can absolutely read cards for yourself. Sometimes it's harder to detach when reading for the self, but Mary Greer wrote an excellent book on it. I think everyone can learn how to read the tarot, but we all use different qualities in card interpretations and how we would like to read and work with the cards. So it's not perse one is better than the other, but how well the reader fits you & your wishes too (future orientated and intuitive versus a more coaching approach, versus someone who actually gets messages from beyond (more of a medium), etc.) I always look for a good fit to my needs if I get a professional reading. And it might also be that it turns out tarot is not the divination tool for you and you are attracted to something else... Like I-ching, astrology, horary, runes, etc. or maybe none at all. It's tools you can use to reflect and you can just orientate to see if it fits you, so if it doesn't suit you, you can let it pass again.

I like what Twirl wrote.HOW to start? you ask. There is no RIGHT way or WRONG way to start. If you already have a deck of cards, you could try getting the feel of each cards, familiarize yourself with your cards, know them better. Then start with simple readings and see how things evolve. If you do not have a deck of cards, you can peruse the internet or visit some stores and see which cards appeal to you, get acquainted with the cards and start on simple readings IP: Logged |

Thank you so much Ami Annie, PlutoSurvivor, Twirl and Jessica2407 for your answers. I would use cards mostly just for myself, for connecting with my spiritual side. Again thank you sooo much for this insight into tarot reading.
