I don't know why but I find modern-styled Tarot decks to be distasteful. Anyone share the same sentiments?IP: Logged |

Well, not that a strong reaction as distaste but I won't use them personally, they do not appeal to me.IP: Logged |

It's beautiful (esp the High Priestess) and has interesting art and appeals to me more than this: IP: Logged |

Haha! The more modern decks are actually the ones I like most. But I think you knew that :-)And yes Venus that is beautiful. A user here, WildPlaces, used this deck to do a reading for me. Fairly accurate. Not sure what happened to her. But I think I'll add this deck to my collection. IP: Logged |

As long as you read with one that appeals to you I am not really taken by very old decks like The Marseille. It hurts my eyes of ugliness to be honest. Altough also there, the symbolism is very interesting. And The Visconti I like, altough I hardly ever seem to read with it. The very modern decks I like at times, because it really takes it into daily life & daily situations. Making it practical and less "woowoo". Gorgeous deck, Venus.
