Hello everyone,I need some help interpreting this combination of cards! I've done and had some readings done about a guy and myself, and have had the 8 of Wands pop up multiple times. I know the meaning of that card (or what I take it to mean anyway), but just decided to draw a card with the question of "what is the 8 of wands trying to tell me about myself and S?". While shuffling, two cards fell out.. usually when this happens, I choose to read the card(s) as my answer, and in this case I strongly felt that I needed to stop shuffling and take the two cards as my answer. The two cards were 7 of Cups and Ace of Cups. Anyway, clearly there is a lot of emotion involved here.. 7 of cups is a wish card and can be about having too many options, having your head in the clouds etc.. and Ace is self explanatory. Unfortunately, I'm not sure of how to interpret these together and I'm feeling a little more confused now.. with all the passion present in 8 of wands, I'm thinking that maybe the appearance of these two cards shows there is a lot of feeling there, but that there is some indecision present as well? Anyone?? IP: Logged |

I read 7 of cups as wasting precious time dreaming about how things could be rather than taking decisive actions to make those dreams a reality. It is like the person is putting off what needs to be done immediately.IP: Logged |

Hmm, okay.. I can see how that makes sense. So what do you think it means when combined with the Ace of Cups?IP: Logged |

Okay...well I see it as someone who has met a person with whom they are experiencing loving emotions that are new, that are may be after a heart break, or after a long time being celibate, after thinking that all hope is gone, that you will never find someone in your life.. Combined with the 7 of cups, however, it indicates that the person doesn't know what to do with those new emotions, which direction to go,what to do next, do they really want to move this relationship a notch higher, do they want commitment, are they looking for commitment, therefore wanders in fantasy-land.I think 7 of cups, is almost like having mind sex but without actually making a move to have sex. It's how I think of 7 of cups.IP: Logged |

Ahh, okay! Thank you Jessica That makes total sense.. for me, I know what I want with him, but I can see your interpretation making more sense from his perspective, or of the overall situation. I appreciate your help! IP: Logged |

NP, glad to help.7 of cups can also be pointing towards self-delusion, self deception, lots of neptune influence. May be you should ask yourself the hard questions, do you really want something permanent with this guy, is he the man that you need, that is best for you versus the man that you want. IP: Logged |

Good point. He and I click really well, but it's still so new that it's hard for me to answer a question of permanency.. I do know that he has a lot of qualities I never really thought I'd find in a guy, so there's that. It'll be interesting to see where it goes.. IP: Logged | |
