The snake doesn't represent cold person - rather it can represent a woman in your life.

Heart doesn't represent heartless - Lenormand are literal in that sense - you see a heart that means love.

So I'd think your reason to live is that there's a woman who loves you or you are in fact a person with kind heart and your purpose is to help women...

Perhaps I'm supposed to help my mother,a female relative or friend out.It wouldn't be a woman I'm in love with since I'm gay.

The reasons I thought the snake was bad because I had read interpretations of that card and some of the key words used were envy,treachery,manipulation and temptation.
Although some of the key words about the type of person it could represent included things like rivals,femme fatale,trickster or enchantress.

I did wonder if the man represented me and the snake combined with the heart represented how I felt inside and my attitude towards life.I thought the cards were deliberately showing me how I feel inside because I asked a fatalistic question I knew I shouldn't have asked and probably didn't really want to know.I thought they told the truth because of my negative attitude.

I suppose It could be a possibility I'm supposed to help women.I don't know about being loving because honestly I am like Scrooge at the moment.I feel sometimes like I just want to spit venom at the world.

I can see your interpretation as how you're feeling inside - feeling more venomous at the moment and not connected to your heart maybe?

The snake can also represent wisdom and knowledge.
