The card I pulled was actually the 7 of diamonds but it doesn't seem like people are too interested in cartomancy so I related it to the 7 of pentacles.. My guess is they see you as waiting for something that will never happen? Hopelessly waiting for something? Dwelling on things?..IP: Logged |

Depending hugely on the surrounding cards, and how solid the relationship is, it may mean you are just too much for them, too much of hard work or a long term kinda of emotional investment that is falling apart at the seams..IP: Logged |

An isolated card is difficult. No one ever just sees one thing in anyone. They could see you as patient, nurturing, hard-working, or they could see you as controlling, over-applied, absorbed. I would contextualise the card, and then you may be able to see it clearer.IP: Logged |

I didn't write the reading down but I remember in the position for His needs was Ace of hearts (Ace of cups) and 'Where he wants the relationship to go' was Ace of Spades (Ace of swords). Does that help? IP: Logged |

His needs and desires are somewhat incoherent. The cards suggest: He needs a love relationship, but he desires an intellectual one. I would address his desires first. My guess is that he fears the emotional relationship, but the intellectual one will give provide a safe, trusting foundation for a deeper relationship to develop, should you both choose. IP: Logged |

I've never used regular cards, but if my recall is correct, they were actually originally made for divination purposes. I would use whatever resonates with you. The best test for this is your experience, I would say. IP: Logged |
