Hi KarkaQueen,I'm experimenting with the cards and system that works best for me and have found that I read best with the Lenormand cards. I've been following your use of the Lenormand cards and like how you add the numbers to get an outcome or "=". My question is, when you reduce the numbers, do you reduce it to the first number that could apply, or do your reduce it all the way down to a single digit? For example, I asked the question "what are TS's intentions towards me" (a lover that has returned from the past wanting to see me) and I got Anchor (35), Ring (25), and Tree (5). Totaling them is 65 which would reduce to 11 which could then be further reduced to 2. My instinct is to look at both the 2 and 11 to complete the story / outcome but wanted to hear your thoughts on it. Thanks!

I think she’s taking the first number that applies. Traditionally, this technique is not used in Lenormand, it’s a carry-over from Tarot. IP: Logged |

Hi! I was adding them all together and reducing it, in your case it would be 11. jolly is right its a carry-over from Tarot. My friends (one whom is an expert on Lenormand) used it and it proved to be very accurate. Do whatever your comfortable with in all honesty. If you feel uncomfortable with a certain method it won't work well for you.

Thank you. I'm finding it to work out pretty well so far but I'm still in the exploratory phase. Watching all of the threads here has been so enlightening. Thanks!IP: Logged |
