That was the exact way I asked the cards. I wanted to know what he wanted from me in terms of him, what he wants me to be to him.

These were the cards. This deck is still rather difficult for me. It feels like every card says so much.

I do identify with QoP, particularly with this deck and the diamonds. A friend once described me as a diamond in the rough and my chart is a fire/earth combo.

If not me, who else would the QoP represent in terms of the question?

LOL!! If I wept diamonds, the possibilities would be endless! Also painful, no? (insert wheels turning) Which actually makes sense when relating to tears. The feeling after, sometimes my eyes feel so dry even though I was crying, and the pain that leads one to cry. An extreme amount of pressure is required to create diamonds naturally and it's I feel I connect to this Queen. When I first went through the deck, just looking at the images, this one really struck me, even now, I can sit and look at it for a while. Extreme pressures in my life making me who I am today, my own pressures to make myself into who I want to be (shining up the rough diamond). That's how I see this image. She's the only Queen weeping a stone and then a diamond, precious, hard and long lasting.

The cards do seem romantic, but I can't seem to "translate" them into a sentence with words. The best I get is create something [new] that is long-lasting and perseveres.

Keep your level head and perseverance, sinspiring him to trust that you really want this to work and put effort in it to build something tangible and along with that he would appreciate a little teasing playful banter now and then. 5 of wands is such a flirty card to me. even a little cocky, but all in good fun.

Strange spread, esp. the 9 of wands. the warrior in there looks so jaded, exhausted, and as a matter of fact as I feel at the moment. It was also my day card for today. lol

Hana- It's the Mary-el Tarot. It has such thought and emotional provoking imagery, truly stunning in a way that sometimes leaves you feeling naked. I feel like your interp fits, but not so much to what I would be for him. Your interp actually had me thinking that there may be a subconscious push to this co-cohesiveness for a possibility of something more romantic...like "if only this person acted more -blank- I could really see some relationship potential." Maybe I'm wrong and it's not so romantic...

Jessica- I can see that...although it often feels like he's the one putting up the walls, which may have just been a reaction to me...

Ceri- Yea ok I can see that...

Am I crazy to see a somewhat romantic component this spread, there's this intimate feel to it....

I could see flirtation and wanting things to go smoothly, or thing going more smoothly (less arguing) for a possible future of building something.

In either case he hasn't said anything, even though I asked him twice "what do you want from me?" No answer, hence this post. Capricorn men...what can you expect?
