Actually I technically didn't end the relationship........(not in a traditional sense) he was using me for years and i just had to stop talking to him (he was sooo toxic) and when he recently contacted me again...I just never responded. Actually, since you didn't say "It's over", I would see the cards as him thinking that you'll go back to him. His ego is telling him that you have no choice (2 pents rx) but to return to him. Best thing for you to do is stick to avoiding him. Keep his number just so you know it's him calling and not to pick it up if he contacts you. And trust me, at some point he'll try to get you back. Holy crap guys....ok, so this is what has transpired since i posted last. I started to feel guilty that I never responded to him, so i sent a text saying. "Sorry i never responded, I don't want to go through those feelings with you again". He of course responded immediately and we have been texting back and forth. Mostly him just giving me all the sorry's in the world, to forgive him and being lovey-dovey as can be ex: "I miss you, we had something amazing" ******** talk.
I am trying my best to hold strong and not fall back into this toxic thing again. I pray and pray for strength but he does have a hold on me. Sooooooooooo with that said, little cloud and Venussirus.....your interpretations are both spot on. He is trying his damn-st to get me back!! I pray everyday for strength. If you used classic tarot deck, I don't think you could interpret 4/W as "returning"; more the opposite really - which in turn changes both the meaning and the tone of the reading. IP: Logged |

One of decks describes 4 of wands as a returning of a sort, it also came up once as a reconciliation of a sort. Or you could take it literally and refer it to "touching base". Why opposite? Explain to me Venus so that I amy learn too! IP: Logged |

LC, If you consider 4/W as the continuation of 3/W (where the figure is going off on adventure), yes you can call it a return. A welcoming party. It's that 4/W is transitory and temporary to me, in itself. The figures are saluting you, waving at you, "We are glad that you made it to our celebration" but also "Bye, see ya". IP: Logged |

Hi LC and VS!So here's the scoop! We (the guy and I) started talking (as i mentioned before) we started reminiscing, him apologizing over and over. A we both started having the feelings all over again. He then said he wanted to start again and continue as before. All the emotions came back to me, the pain, the agony, the love, the hate etc etc. He then started to corrupt me again as he did before..it was then that I said "no, I can't do this". I cut off communication, wrote this email. Saying "I can't do this, it's wrong. I have to end this with you to move on. I will never forget you, you will always be in my heart. I forgive you for everything."
after a few minutes I asked my quides "how does he feel about me". These are the cards-
6 of Pentacles
10 of Swords
Sun
Ace of Pentacles
I then asked the same question this morning. I'll wait on showing the cards till I hear you guys thoughts on these cards.

Mmmm, yea I can see that..there's no real attachment. My thought process was a bit similar when I first saw the spread. But then the background story came up and it kinda changed the meaning for me, even so, he could expect her return, just so he can say bye again. Hi little cloud, To answer your question, he would give me presents so I would have sex with him. The four cards I listed just above was before he got the breakup email. I think he was thinking he would give me some kind of present. I pulled these cards right after knowing for a fact he read my email.
