I did a 3 card spread regarding someone. I'm still a newbie to tarot so I'd love some opinions on the following cards. Past: Three of Pentacles
Present: Death Future/Outcome: 10 of Cups I am a bit confused about the last card. I don't know but it almost seems like "it is too good to be true" in a way. Does it really indicate a happily-ever-after-fairytale outcome like some websites have interpreted it?

10 of cups is about emotional fulfillment and happiness/ contentment. It is a very calm, serene card. It does not always means a romantic relationship between two people though; it has that big happy family-vibe. Either you will feel like (soul)family, or if it becomes romantic in a two-person-relationship, this might lead into buidling a family or even substitute family with each other. Whatever it is it looks very positiveTo be honest though I have the feeling with the DEATH card before, the transition, something in your perspective, view or connection itself dies and transforms into something entirely else. Maybe I am wrong but I had the feeling as if it is the romantic-erotic hopes that are making place for something else, more family-like bonding, which gives you emotional happiness. Of course these 3 card spreads are always just valid a certain time. 6 months from now things could be totally different again. IP: Logged |

maybe it started as a work relationship but feelings started to develop. Deep feelings that will lead you both to conclude you would like to give it a shot romantically.IP: Logged |

Thanks for your detailed analysis Ceri, A lot of what you said really fits. I did this reading in regards to Virgo guy. You know how it's been in the last month or so for me. And now all of a sudden I met my Cancer friend for the first time (we "met" online 4 years ago), and meeting him in person now opened my eyes more you could say. I made a thread about Cancer boy and how our meeting went in Interpersonal Astrology btw. Anyways, it made me realize that I shouldn't just wait around and "save" myself for him (Virgo guy). He's out there having fun so why can't I? Why should I put my happiness on hold just so it could satisfy an old dogmatic template I hold? I'm not married to him and nor do we own each other. Before I would have no desire or need to experience anything romantic with anyone else but him. It disgusted me rather to even think that thought, but now after meeting my Cancer friend, I don't think that anymore. I'm guessing that's what the Death card signifies for me. It's not that my feelings have died for Virgo or anything, I still love him more than ever and still feel the soul bond, that will never change, but those old beliefs of mine about love and relationships are shifting. They say connections like these don't necessarily mean that a relationship is pending, and I think I really get what that means now. His job was to awaken me and get me to do the work I needed to on myself (which I think is what the 3 of pents shows in the past position). He mirrors to me my core being, who I really am, and I recognize him as my other half—but that doesn't have to mean that we are meant to marry and live happily ever after. Even though iQ told me in his reading that we are meant to, it's just not what I want right now with him. Maybe in the future, but I'm not gonna cling to any certain outcome for us. I'm letting him go. IP: Logged |

Thanks for your response, athenegoddess, This reading was about someone who I feel is my twin soul. We haven't met yet, but he has had a major transformative impact on me for the last 6 years. What you wrote fits too, In the past I would have thought that maybe we could meet through work because are in a similar field, and then some transformation will follow up, which will eventually lead to something romantic between us. But I had my head in the clouds and was caught up in a Neptunian fog Anyways, it's interesting the way you interpreted these cards because that's how I saw the future for us. IP: Logged | |
