How did you choose the one you have? The images? Just felt drawn to it? Handed down from someone?

I see people talk here about lenormand a lot too,

Hey there.  Art is everything - I sometimes check out particular cards - like The Sun, The Moon, The World, Death; 3/W. I use Anna K tarot ordered from the artist's site. I used Morgan Greer when I started, I liked the retro vibe and The Magician sports a PORN 'stache, you understand.  I'd recommend Mary K Greer books. Thoth Tarot deck is unique.

I recommend Rider-Waite, any Tarot reader should have this classic - the symbolism there is the birth of New Age and a revolutionary step in divination symbolism. I have recently discovered Lenormand, personally I love it because it works with patterns, my Pallas on ASC is addicted! ------------------
