OK, I'll apply my current prefered method for reading liniar spreads. The middle card is the main issue, the matter. Definitely suitable here, with the Cross (religion, faith). What kind of a temple are we talking about?
So the spread is reflecting the question.
Then we look at the surrounding two cards as an important clue related to the most important part (answer) of the spread. With Man/Woman, we see a possible meeting of these two on the Cross, at the temple. I think they're face to face, right? The it is possible they know each other already.
Now we take it card after card.
Tower is also related to the Temple, since Tower cross is actually church. Plus an official matter is possible as an event, we will need to see about what.
Since the rest of the cards are already explained we jump to Lily. Lily in the context of "temple" could also mean faith, and we still have another clue about a possible official (legal) matter.
Then we try to tell the story with pairs.
Tower Man
a tall man
a high official
a divorced or lonely or introvert man
an ambitious man
Man Cross
a man of faith (religious)
a man in pain
a man at the end of a life cycle
a soulmate (destined partner)
Cross Woman
a spiritual woman, a woman of faith
etc.
Woman Lily
a more mature and experienced version of you (since you're most likely the woman in the spread)
if not, an older, mature, very spiritual woman, who has passed a test of life and succeeded.
Sofar, I see the two cards Tower and Lily as describing the characters here, rather than any official legal matter. actually, I see these two characters meeting at the temple next year. Basically, you meeting this man.
We move on with the mirrors:
Tower Lily
this combo here however, tells me there will be an official event in relation to these two people meeting each other. Do you take part in events with elderly people, at the temple?
