Why would I do that?

though on second thought, a manual about how to use condoms - do you think he would find that offensive? I mean it would be a practical gift, right? And Capricorns like practical things, don`t they?

well the manual wouldn`t be a bad idea? I mean 5 kids from 3 women? He must need some private lessons - in reading.

Seriously I can`t believe the stupidity of this, on both sides actually. But better not get too deep into it here, or it might not stay political correct.

EDIT:
Sorry I think my judgemental Saturn on his SN is showing again.

Hm, maybe I'll watch it too if it's so good.

Ceri, you spoke the truth, it's dumb. Maybe he believes in that "a man should spread his seed" thing

It`s not "so good", it is just harmless nice relaxing TV.

And I can`T imagine he has been thinking at all, at least not with his neocortex (http://www.threes.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=2472:humans-have-three-brains&catid=70:science&Itemid=52)

Thanks for appreciating the long time I put behind this suggestion of a practical gift (about 15 seconds or so. )

10 times? Wow you watched it more than me, though I do feel tempted, it`s true. I havenīt watched it this year, cause I was at the theatre and watched a lady plotting her revenge on her ex and the whole town by promising them a whole lot of money if one of the proper citizen would be killing her Ex.

Aww you gotta love Durrenmatt`s cynical view on the world! lol

Nevertheless it was at that time they were showing the Holiday so I missed it, and well I also loved it for the small village they were showing. It looks soooo English. lol

And I also love Kate Winslet, in fact this film made me realize something about myself

Have I miscounted? No 5 I think. 3 with his exwife (she was already having one kid with someone else I think), and 2 from 2 other women.

How sad that I even know that!

I think he simply likes to ... have fun.
At least he is not getting married to every woman he impregnates.

Though that is not REALLY a good thing, is it?

Oh yes, it's one of the best parts of the movie for me! I think I resemble Kate Winslet's character in some ways, that's why it has such impact on me. Parts of what I like about the movie is the music is so good, and that cottage is something you'll see on a Christmas card, it feels so christmasy . And seeing Jude not as a sexy Don Juan man but an emotional guy is a pleasant surprise.
I didn't know this Durrenmatt writer but I like cynical words/view, cause I can see that as something humorous lol.

You're right Ceri, having 5 kids with 3 different women is thoughtlessly stupid. The manual looks more and more like a great gift for him . It'd be more fun if you send the manual to his kids and instruct them to give it to him.

Durrenmatt was brilliant.
many of his plays show how law and justice can be so far from each other, as almost being on opposite ends of the spectre. lol

Yes, to everything you said, the cottage definitely so christmassy, the music, just liked the whole package.
