Cappy, Oh, I agree! And still, there's certain uniformity to that which I find off-putting despite my genuine interest in makeup*. As if you don't really know the makeup unless you do it their way. (Lisa Eldridge is a goddess, btw.) *more of a perfume buff, actually.

Congrats on a good taste

I feel you. It's a pain in the ass for me too. I'm not skilled and my eyelashes are short which doesn't help. Also, removing mascara weakens eyelashes and I don't like it. I'd rather use transparent conditioners.

I have ASC trine Neptune. Mine are a little less hooded, I think. Doesn't encourage to play with makeup.------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

It's really even, isn't it? Mars and Sag for the fire team, Neptune and CR in Pisces for the water team.

Cappy, By transparent conditioners, do you mean those serum-y concoctions that promote quick growth? IP: Logged |

No. I meant something nourishing. quote: I like red lipstick (not really dark though), but it might be too harsh for me. Especially since I am on the pale side anyway.
Pale skin isn't a problem, it's a matter of finding the right tone. Your skin seems pinkish which means you should go for cool red tones and avoid warm ones. But I think pink would look better on your lips. Also, I'm afraid red emphasises the yellowness of teeth. Hmm, how about you post a test pic with red lips? quote: As if you don't really know the makeup unless you do it their way.

So after these multiple decisions:- leather pants and boots - onyx necklace (though I am not finished with that, as I probably need to wear a scarf, for the pullover is too wide on my shoulders) - possibly, most likely ponytail - wearing (a little) make up well many modifications, right? So I was asking if he would still like the outfit on me and got

This is a fun thread! I'm also for the 2nd outfit and when I wear something similar I usually have a belt with it. So my suggestion is a wide black belt to go with the black leggings and boots. http://www.luckymag.com/style/howto/2007/sweater_belts Personally I like having the belt lower like in this pic http://zigoti.com/wear-sweater-dress-belt-2/ You're going to look hot! LOL Yes, commanding all 4 elements. BTW the Sabian of my ASC is this: "Within The Depths Of The Earth New Elements Are Being Formed" hey maybe I am a new element? The fifth element? IP: Logged |

Star, great that you joined us, too. "This is a fun thread!" This had been my intention, though I had not expected it to turn into a "remodel Ceri-party" But I like it. Very much indeed. I like being the centre of attention.
Oh Gosh this progressed Leo Moon "So my suggestion is a wide black belt to go with the black leggings and boots. " I was thinking about it, too. I have one, but it is very wide. Similiar like this one
"Personally I like having the belt lower "4 Yes, me, too. I mean if I wore one, I would probably wear it just above the hips.
" You're going to look hot!" lol Definitely not an adjective I would associate with myself.

Then my mission would be accomplished. Well, on the last concert, after having looked into my direction for what felt like a whole song (I id not think he wuold see me, but apparently he did), he suddenly changed the lyrics of the song he was currently playing and fell into another tune, and broke out into the following words:
"Madness! Why are you sending me to hell?" (from a german party song actually). The change of tune just was so aprupt this time. lol (he sometimes does that though, just not so all of a sudden). Anyway, so if there was a little personal meaning hidden in there (nah, I don`t relaly think so either), then I shall give him a reason to go crazy, right?

First things to do in 2015...Force my father to take another picture of me. The real important things, right? (Also Venus Di Sirius, I get what you mean, how can it be that even I seem different to me on these pics now? As compared to the first I posted in the sweater? It`s just one day between them!) So I guess the question is: How bad is it? (and the haircut as well) and Belt or no belt? (and no the red scarf is not debatable, though I might exchange it for the onyx-necklace) IP: Logged |

Oh yeah right, pics. Well have been wearing the outfit yesterday, too. And my neighbours were quite taken with it, one of them even said I was looking like a different woman now (curiously my brother stated the same, independently. Have I really changed that much? I mean sure I lost some weight. lol And granted I never ever wore leather pants or belts in my previous life, before 2012 I mean)

Ceri I'd definitely do something with the hair. If you really don't want to straighten it, I'd make a ponytail and put the bangs on the side.If you're willing to buy a gemstone necklace, you could also consider red gemstones. http://kamayojewelry.com/gemstone-colors/red-gemstone-names/ Lee, no snow here now either but I'm not jealous. It can be a pain in the ass.

Leeloo, thanks. We had snow, one day or so, but it all melted away. lol Cappy, about the hair, yes that was why I was so upset that the woman cut it shorter than it was intended to be. I suppose ponytail is out of the question now.Or maybe not, I have to give it a try. Just that the ponytail would become very short then. Personally I would actually go the different route, instead of straightening it, making it more curly. IP: Logged |

Ceridwen, It's high time you used my screen name in abbreviated form, ie VDS. Next, "Have I really changed that much?" - No. It's their perception of you that has changed. "how can it be that even I seem different to me on these pics now?" - We're discovering ourselves each time we look in the mirror. (But, yes, Neptune + camera, that's another story altogether.) Happy New Year, girls!! Lots of laugh in 2015! IP: Logged |
