How would you interprete that in terms of how someone (male) really feels about his partner and their relationship? IP: Logged |

That the spread is related to this courtcard,e ither because the querent is symbolized by it, or it refers to a person (most times at least). Here it is interesting as I had been asking about a man and a woman (not me), and that woman has come up as Queen of Pentacles before, it seemed like a confirmation that the spread was really answering the question. It depends though how I set the intention what kind of spread I am using etc. Here it was not really a past-present-future thread but a description of the situation, just with 3 cards, maybe influenced through Lenormand. In that case, I'd say that she's someone to whom he always returns. All other options are exhausted, and he's ready to validate that emotional connection they share. Hard times connect people more strongly than good times, you know what I mean? IP: Logged |

People who have experienced bad life together are very, very close. They lean onto each other. Like men from the same unit who fought in war (extreme example). IP: Logged |

Yes, I knew what you meant with that. I was just disagreeing with your interpretation. That`s all. 10 of swords and 8 of cups together in a spread precisely asking about someone`s feelings about a relationship/ partner, is rather troublesome. At least I would not want to have that. IP: Logged |

There's a general sense of relief, I think. 10/S is immobility, and 8/C is about departure. A progress has been made, an issue has been resolved. It isn't pretty pink, but he's getting somewhere. 8/C + 10/S would be a darker picture. If you were to move Q/P around, the spread would speak differently as well. Q/P may be handsome (I don't know the context so I can't assume that there's 3rd party involved) but she's a pinnacle of nurture and security. A good friend. IP: Logged |
