Something new I just learned today. I was told by another medium in Co several years ago that I too am a medium. But I never understood the difference. Now that I do I understand I have been this way since childhood and I just though it was normal and it was because my mother and grandmother are the same as me we just acted like it was no big deal.
they can hear angels as well but others may not understand. Explanation :
Psychics are In tune with the energy on the earth plane but mediums connect with the energy coming down from the heavenly plane.as well. So mediums would experience clairaudience, clairvoyant, empathic abilities so we have all psychic abilities but the one thing that makes us different from psychics is the ability to connect with other planes and other beings such Angels, deceased and so on. People who are psychic can connect yo the energy of this plane but not the other planes. Anyway, I just thought I would explain the difference to others who may not understand as I did not understand until it was explained.

I disagree. A medium is someone who can communicate with spirits. Nothing more, nothing less. Mediumship is one of the psychic skills. Psychic skills = gathering information from higher planes of existence.------------------

I was just going with how things were explained to me.
And when you honestly think about it most mediums have other psychic abilities because they are psychics since mediumship is a psychic ability as you explained above. Anyway I was just explaining it the way I heard it because I thought it was interesting and never truly understood.

Yes, a medium CAN posess other psychic skills. I simply focused on the nature of mediumship. Probably many "activated" people aka psychics have more than one skill.------------------

I have been wanting to enhance / work at hearing them better like others I happen to know of who are mediums
But, I am not sure where to start. Though, I have been in a very negative situation with many negative people around. Me who are very mentally manipulative and emontinaly manipulative as well. I am releasing and leaving that behind very soon so maybe once the negativity around me clears I will be able to tune in better ?
I wonder is that working with crown chakra or different ?
Someone once referred to angelic chakra is that same as crown or something else ?
