Topic: spread about sexual feelings or :tarot reminding you of movies

Well the spread in question was8 of swords - 4 of cups - King of Wands While I know that some or many tarot readers have a negative view on 8 of swords and 4 of cups, especially the 8 of swords has always been such a strong card in my readings. When I get it personally I am usually beyond captivated by something.
Anyway in this particular question this sort of reminds me a tiny little bit of "Shades of Grey" or even "Eyes wide shut" (anyone remembers that one? well possibly for that one the presence of 3 of cups and 2 of swords would have been more indicative. But blindfold is blindfold.)
Anyway that just made me think of something.
What movie does that spread remind you of?
And of course you can pull your own cards and tell me what movie your spreads indicate for you? (that will be an intersting psychological study, uncovering maybe more about our more hidden sides than we want to... or not.  ) Should be fun, I think IP: Logged |

Great topic....I would vote for Basic Instinct for this spread, as we usually get the same (4 of Cups) and we are all tied down because of what the society wants from all women. Then we go wild in the end and make unbelievable things in bed (King of Wands, the most sexual and wild one!). I got a spread for the movie spread: Queen of Cups - 9 of Wands - 10 of Swords It reminded me about Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, as the girl is a sweet, then start to defend someone's thoughts and views... and in the end, she got herself too many things in mind that she commited suicide, jumping from the bridge to eternity...

This is such a wonderful idea of a thread!
I will draw cards for some movies too.For me, your spread gives this impression of a woman heavily fantasizing about the King of Wands, so I am thinking movies when the heroine is going after this King, such as a A Very Long Engagement or Le Hussard sur le Toit, an Eros/Psyche theme. But I didn't get your OP and your title, was this in fact a question about sexual feelings, and whose? or a general movie spread? ------------------

I donīt know, Dani, it depends actually. Of course we have more responsibilities now, but since I am on my summer break I do have a bit of time and I spend it doing mindless things.
BTW speaking of Mr Willis I just checked his chart. his Venus is conjunct my Moon exact and Mars squares my Moon (and his Sun-DESC falling onto my Draco ASC and wel I do have a weak spot for angles on about 25 Pisces).
So I guess that settles it. lol
WEll part of my university times were more dedicated to STar Trek - Deep Space nine and especially Siddig El Fadil (alexander Siddig nowadays); the Bruce Willis phase was earlier. lol
As for Alexander Siddig I still think he has the most gorgeous eyes on this planet!
(don`t mind me his Mars is exact on my Venus. lol)
And the voice, ohh the voice....! (must be the british accent. lol)
EDIT
In terms of eyes, Jensen Ackles comes pretty close though.
Though his Mars is NOT on my Venus (it`s on my Eros)

I think it may happen on a boat or a very intimate environment such as a boat. I also think it may happen after marriage.

Very likely 4 of swords is bed, just like 4 of wands or hanged man.
but I think 4 of swords is probably the strongest "bed" card in tarot. Similar to Leno Coffin.------------------
