Hope I did not hurt your feelings though. And the whole Wuthering Heights, seriously, were they dumb or what? Or like a pupil once said when we were discussing the sufferings of WErther, who committed suicide (over at least 20 pages): "how could he be so dumb to kill himself over such a silly goose as Lotte? It was PASSION and so you can't expect a common sense and Cathy just left Heathcliff in marrying Linton (or whatever his name was). And it were different times where you had to marry for practical needs. And Werther did committ suicide because he thought she was the ONLY love of his life.
