Yes, apparently I was.
Though maybe not at the beginning, but something shifted after about an hour or so.

Yes, some of us took the brewery-tour, which was a bit boring, and there was this waiting period, and I was a little bored, as I was not wanting to drink the beer being offered there.

I wasn`t even feeling nervous. But defensive, lonely and stiff. Yes, I did not know anyone there, I was on my own, and it was awkward, and then well I simply SAID that aloud, which pretty much put much of it out of the way.

Yes, he arrived just when I came down the stairs just after his assistant and someone else, so a pretty small group.

He was alone when he came (his wife and son came about 3 hours later though, and well, coincidentally around the time I had to leave - prematurely. lol I did not expect him to spend there such a long time. I mean seriously the actual fanmeeting started at 5 p.m. and I was leaving at a bit after 8 p.m., and I think he might have continued with it for some time after that. But he already wrote a very looong post about it, admitting to still feeling so sentimental and just gushing about it. lol)
When he arrived he of course had to talk to his assistant. I did not loiter around curiously, but simply continued to move into the room meant for the fanmeeting.

Yes, I think so.
It was a little like he did not know how or if to look at me, but honestly? I did not pay all that much attention at that time.

Well his assistant had prepared a questionnaire about him, for all to fill out, and it only dawned on me much later, that i maybe should have pretended to not know as much as I do. But I love questionnaires, I love these quizzes, and I forget possible consequences, no matter HOW embarassing it is to know that much about someone I don`t even know. Drat, another trap I did not see and walked into blindly and enthusiastically! :d

But well we had to write our names under it, so that is what I mean when saying he has my autograph now. lol

However, being dumb as I am, I did not quite realize that the filling out a questionnair was not just for fun, but there would be a ranking. Luckily I was not 1st or 2nd place, but it had to be the 3rd one, right? *sighs*
And that even though at one question I was ticking pretty much ever possible answer cause I had no clue and always changing my mind.

As if that was not bad enough, he was making it worse, by spending undue time with my questionnaire, I mean for real, he skimmed over the others including 1st and 2nd (he started with those who were ranked 5th, which were multiple ones), but upon reading my name he obviously decided to give it a more thorough read through to see what mistakes I made. And the more I protested (I very clearly told him that this was unfair and that he hasn`t done that with the other ones either), the more fun it was to him apparently.
And of course he had to also go on about me ticking all the boxes at one question, shaking his head wearily and just repeating: "Not good, Ceri, not good."
Not good???? I was the 3rd best of everyone there in the room, my results were freaking AMAZING!

It was almost creepy though, it was like looking into a mirror; reminded me of my "teacher-mode" when I am in a more cheerful mood and teasing my pupils a little bit.

He did. And in between his wife and son came, and he sang some songs with the little one on his lap. It was really really cute.

And since he was still blocking the way to the door a little, sitting on that stool with guitar I had to pass him by pretty closely, and did he just let me leave?
No of course not, he had to "complain" about me "scrounging all the prices/ wins and then simply leave?"
His wife, who was present at that time, looked a little puzzled, but i guess he did explain it to her afterwards. or maybe she was simply surprised about me leaving, I donīt know.
I was certainly surprised about him interrupting his playing cause he could not let me disappear without teasing me one last time.

Well, yes,

Hmm, his assitants and himself were having the table in my back, and unlike the others I had ordered a dessert instead of a real meal for dinner (cut-up pancakes btw).
When it came I was leaving the room to call my Dad and tell him to pick me up later (but could not know I should have made that 2 hours later. lol)
When I came back I sat down and started eating, when suddenly the lady in front of me was looking over to Mr Sag and calling out to him: "You want a dessert, too?"
Seems he must have been looking at me or over my shoulder without me noticing. Well I had my back to him.
So I turned round to face him, just to see him lean quite close towards me and since he could then not just keep on looking at me, he asked how the pancakes were.
And well I was having a more extrovert phase yesterday and feeling so comfortable there instead of a real answer retorted: "By now pretty cold."
But I did tell him then that they were okayish, though IH ad already eaten better ones.

And well, again I did not notice, that pretty much the minute after I turned back to resume eating he was taking a Selfie of himself and his fans. I am the one with the rounded back and the whitish/grey shirt. lol

Anyway, my pancakes must have really fascinated him.
About half an hour he had resumed his walk through the other tables, and was joining a table pretty much on the other end of the room. I did not quite mind though, we were having a lot of fun at my table,t oo, actually it might have been the loudest one in the room, and I have to admit, I might have been the reason for it. For all my introversion and shyness there are certain moments I forget about that and it seems people can feel quite entertained by how I phrase or communicate things or just making silly remarks. It certainly registered with him, when he had entered the room right at the beginning, as I was just trying to get the waiter to memorize the order we did (why did I order for all of us though? I did not even know the others. lol Sun in 1st house I suppose)
Anyway, it was a rather extrovert moment for me, followed by more extrovert moments, and not at all focused on him. Im ean he was somewhere else, I wouldnīt just sit around waiting for anything. I was intended to have fun independent of him.
Anyway, it seemed actually the waiter had a certain liking for me or the way I was communicating. When he came back later, to collect the money for the drinks (we were paying for every drink, instead of just noting it on a coaster and pay it alltogether, which was weird). But anyway when doing so the waiter asked if he was allowed to sit down beside me for a moment, to collect the money and well that was unusual as well. Usually waiters do not sit with their customers. lol
But he was kinda cute.

Anyway I told him to take away my plate, which was still halffull. He wanted to know why, and I told him it was just too much. Well the waiter said otherwise he would have to tell off the cook, and then left. or TRIED to leave.

He never made it to the door, and I noticed that he had stopped at Mr Sag who was inquiring about the halffull plate. lol
The waiter obviously repeating what I had said, cause I heard Mr Sag repeat an incredulous: "Too much???"
Which got my attention, as it was what I had said, so I looked over there. The waiter seemed a little uncomfortable and looking almost guilty into my direction and saying: "I wasn`t allowed to leave. He didn`t let him."
(I almost blurted out: That`s what he does, Isn`t it? Never letting go. lol I refrained doing so thoug).

And Mr Sag was calling out to me over the heads of the other people, who by then had become silent, and quite attentive, if it being toom uch was the only reason or how it had tasted.

And I couldnīt lie to him. I simply couldn`t so. So I just made a gesture with my hand indicating it was "so-so."
The waiter having the last word int his convo then said he would go and tell the cook off for not doing his job properly, and left.

And well, it was just a pancake, for Gods sake! What is so fascinating and important about a pancake?

anyway with 8 of cups as focus card, you might be leaving something behind that does not quite work for you anymore, going in search of something more fulfilling.

It might be that in the beginning you will need to show your strenght or make a choice about staying or going, or just a choice and stick with it, taking some courageious steps of asserting yourself or even starting a new project. Which at the end of the day will bring wonderful fruits (Star). maybe it will have to do with astrology as well, or wishes and hopes.

With the Devil coming up next mirrored by empress, wow, this looks so sexual! Like some form of attraction will hook you in for real, otherwise it could also mean getting attached to some creative project (Devil as total attachment and compulsion, Empress about gestating something new and creative)
