Thank you, Aunt! No worries--I was in and out the entire day, so my head was at other things. This sounds wonderful, as I don't intend to give up after so many years of work. "Calling/messaging the right people/places (AoC)," as I learned the very hard way, isn't always a good idea and in this case it's probably not indicated. But here I believe it means to support other aspiring writers, because karma pays back and who knows who might help me in return. I do that anyways, though maybe I should do it more.

I live in the States, so it's only 5 p.m. here. I finished my first novel about 1.5 years ago, but it was about twice larger than it should have been to have any chance. It had some other problems, but its size was a biggie, so I couldn't find an agent for it. Then I wrote another one last year, did 7 major drafts, plus a few smaller ones, had it twice professionally edited. I'm trying to find an agent now and keeping myself optimistic.
