I had quite a dream last night I think it can have many meanings so I asked the tarot,What was the dream trying to tell me 2 of Pents, 4 Wands , 2 Swords, Death, Two of Cups To clarify on the meaning of the spread i pulled a mini spread 8 Wands, The fool, knight of swords I can see it's about changes - maybe changes that happen quickly and in all areas of life? I think it also refers to inner strength too. Twos I think of balance so maybe it is about balancing things out - maybe a karmic touch there? I think 2 Swords show betrayal Any thoughts on the spread? pls dont quote might edit later

Hi, VG I don't know what the dream is all about (was there a gathering of people or some sort of event in there?) but I see here: gathering of data or balancing possibilities followed by some sort of event (usually of public nature) leading to a deliberation on the info and a final decision (or decision to end something), followed by a reunion or new beginning in romance ( in case 2 of cups stands for romance, rather than reunion) with those 3 cards you pulled (although personally I recommend clarifiers on a specific card, if the meaning is a bit confusing, too many cards can get even more confusing) I see a very very very fast, swift development of events as potential meaning, almost like a rush or a coup...there is also indication of some reckless action, on a negative side; or simply deciding to finally "jump" I wouldn't call 2 of sw a card of betrayal, it's the card of seeking inner balance and/or compromise, avoiding action, deliberating, decision making and peace.
Two of Swords Balance · Conflict resolution · Decisions · Peace of mind · Prejudice Like crossed blades, the II of Swords represents a balance of forces. Not necessarily an absence of struggle, but an equal distribution of force in opposition. It may indicate you are in a position to mediate a conflict, or it may instead suggest you are caught in the middle of a dilemma with no clear outcome. The resolution of this state will likely bring peace for you. ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms... AstroMandala New Profiles IP: Logged |

Thanks Leeloo I had thought of betrayal because my dream featured snakes. What you said about struggle also makes sense. It was about pigs climbing to the top and over large stacks of hay. As the pig climbs snakes would emerge from the hay and try to bite the pig and the pig would fight back and would continue climbing. I dont remember feeling any fear about this dream. I just thought it was strange :/ Thanks Pls dont quote might edit later IP: Logged |

Hm this gives a different meaning to the cards and makes the 2s here a crossroad, indecision marker. 4 of Wands and Fool are about freedom, in this case. The hay stacks are symbolic for the Fool's peak, and also apparent in the 8 of wands card. But in order to acquire this freedom, one must let himself or herself be bitten by the snake ( a powerful symbol of feminine transformation and chakra opening - Scorpio - Death) and abandon the status quo (pig) and sacrifice the pig ( a sacrificial animal). The Snake is the Death card here and this "death" must be embraced. The fight is with oneself, it is about deciding to jump. The hay stack is symbolic for a much harmless obstacle then the dreamer imagines (their inner vision about the actual danger - 2 of sw - is irrationally amplified (as big as the pig)) But the most powerful symbol in your spread as per your dream is the 2 of Cups....now take a look at that amazing Caduceus And you can find the Lemniscate - connected to Ouroboros - in the 2 of pentacles too; and of course, the 8 Healing is in embracing the Snake's bite (the Fool's leap of faith ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms... Of course pluto on the asc, it kind of relates to my username Pluto on the asc has this intense gaze. The user name comes from the Japanese word boketto "the act of gazing vacantly into the distance without thinking."But I think way too much What you said about the bites makes sense. I am quite anxious about making leaps especially with regards to work not only emotionally. I guess the climbing relates to that as well. The pig was quite big here. The snakes was slimmer than the pig so the fears are greater in size than the danger. The irrational fears Thanks alot for this. I had initially thought it was all about being betrayed this kind of thing. Pls dont quote might edit later IP: Logged |
