Anyone every had a broom swept over your feet ? Because the saying is that a person will "never get married." If so, did you get married regardless of this folktale? Curious, because when I was a teen, a family member was sweeping the floor and somehow the broom went over my feet, I can remember one of my relative's friend saying, "now she will never get married." Well, I'm still not married and I'm in my late 30's. Or I just have bad luck with men, haha. IP: Logged |

Nah, unless you believe in it. It's a superstition, or what I call a stupidstition. Although, I often request that my feet be swept whenever I see someone with a broom, because I don't want to get married. IP: Logged |
